The artifact weapons will not give us anything special. They are literally baseline for max level. Everyone's got one, it ain't special, it's a gating mechanism disguised as something cool with some lore tied to it and nothing more.

All artifacts literally give you a flat +100% extra damage or healing. You really think we're getting that? Well, we're not. Lmao. It's a lie. The +100% is actually "You do normal damage now".

What we actually get is a huge reduction in our base stats and damage and the artifact simply makes up for these nerfs. You see plenty of classes doing nearly half the damage they did before 7.0.3, and, that's because they're all tuned for the +100% and artifact shit.

Yes. RU players have a different set of banned words, or something. Just set your enUS to ruRU where he said, save it, reboot it from the .exe instead of the launcher. You'll have to log in again (since you're not using the launcher) but then you can use any of those banned words assuming someone else hasn't taken them. This glitch has been known for a while.

That's a 30 week time sink if you keep up with max dailies you fucking autist, EN and Nighthold aren't tuned for it to be maxed. The tuning is only around the initial traits. Those stat boost traits run in the area of 2-4million artifact power per trait.

So I like ret quite a bit and the whole paladin aesthetic, but I don't know if I can main one.

It just feels like something is missing. Every other class has an interesting ability or something that makes it kind of cool. Paladins just sort of hit shit.

Warriors get heroic leap

Priests get levitate, life grip, mind control, mobility through shield speed boosts that is quite good

Hunters get disengage and a bunch of other stuff

Rogues actually got gutted pretty hard but invis is fun and a big game changer

Shamans have knockbacks, a disengage, and spirit wolf

Mages have loads a' blinks

Warlocks actually probably just as bad as paladins

Monks roll around and do crazy bullshit

Druids do all of the above

Demon hunters are self-explanatory

Death Knights have quite a bit of utility and mobility in the world with AoE grip, grip, and wraith walk

Paladins just don't feel cool. If literally just had that one ability from diablo where the crusader teleports into the sky then lands where he threw his sword I would probably love the class. But it feels so hard to like it outside of raid content.

Running old raid and doing open world content on a priest has me constantly speed boosting with shields and levitating to do weird stuff and get off of mountains quickly. It's cool and fun while it has little to no affect on anything else in the game. But as a paladin it's just "walk here and kill everything with your clunky and weird to use AoE ability"

Paladins get the ability to destroy mechanics with hands. Wod had plenty of raid bosses where you could just ignore certain mechanics due to hands and divine shield to rip off debuffs. Now you can actually use divine shield in raids while tanking which is pretty cool.

I would not ret. I would only prot (which is going to be amazing) or holy which will still be the tank healing king.
