you have to adjust for your ping, which normally means shooting in front of them quite a bit and then hoping it hits them. theres no way to consistently hit them out of stealth

dragonchar has a wider cone you can use that too, but dont overuse it

I can't hit them in WWV. period.
That's the whole fuckin problem.
Before you get close enough to hit them, they stealth.
Hit them once, they go back into stealth.
They never need to break stealth to kill me or anyone else on my team.
I don't understand why the fuck a ticking dot, or a Daze, or impact hitting them doesn't break or set their stealth on CD.

I literally stood thre throwing impacts at this sin, watching her 100~0 someone GETTING HIT WITH THE IMPACTS, and not breaking stealth the entire time.
I watched her walk right into a TAB knockdown, see the knockdown float text, AND STILL DID NOT BREAK STEALTH.

"Action" combat in MMOs is a scam. Instead of tab targetting you are literally just looking at the target and spamming aoes to hit everything in front of you 99% of the time.

Action combat is literally no different from tab targeting when everything you have is an aoe.

You still have to avoid bad shit in WoW, but the model is slightly different in that there is some unavoidable damage that has to be healed, that's literally it.

Action combat is fundamentally different.

Now BnS and GW2(with action reticle they added) blurs that line between Action combat and tab targetting, but Games like WildStar, TERA and Vindictus are vastly different than WoW and other tab target games.

It's really not, instead of just looking at your target like in action mmos you select them and then look at them, you still have multihit abilities and aoes, but you also have a target

When people say action combat they are thinking "Oh well you can dodge that guys attack that he's winding up!"

Well guess what, wow pve works the same way now, the boss will raise his sword over his head and windup a giant cleave that will 1 shot anything in front of him with no aoe marker, it's the same as action mmos but with a target at this point.

End-game will be really dull for you if you get to 110 and do nothing with a group. You can do LFR (Looking For Raid) which is where you pug simplified ez mode versions of raids, this is directed more at casual raiders as you hardly need to know mechanics.

You can collect transmog gear from old raids solo, if you like playing dress-up and collecting. You can grind out many achievements solo, too.

But anything that involves more "progression" in your gear may require you to find a guild and go for raiding.

There's more to it but this question would be better suited for WoW's general.

Look here guys, I am NOT bashing Blade and Soul in any way or form out of pure hate or spite.

I WANT this game to be good. YOU want this game to be good.

But let's face it - getting content like Masts & Tomb once every 2-3 months isn't going to cut it.

There's no fun exciting stuff to do in the game either - which explains why a lot of us have to resort to shitposting, memes, ERP, taking pictures of our characters and whatever the fuck.

I wish achievement hunting was fun. 300 Tomb runs for 11 AP isn't too fun.

I like doing dungeons with friends. Doing the same dungeon 300 times in hopes of random drops isn't all that fun.

I want to PVP on every class. But getting all the HM skills on my main alone takes up a considerable amount of time.

I want to have fun, exciting, big 24man raids. I want more difficult, world-first progression races in Blade and Soul. I want cool cosmetic items that you have to work hard for, just like in WoW. Spider Fang and Infinite Challenge is similar to that concept, but they threw on Spider Fang in the trove after I farmed 300 runs of Tomb of Exiles for it.

I want this game to be good, but NCSOFT doesn't want it to be big. They'll throw a big e-sports tournament in Korea once a year to keep the crowd happy, then it goes back to having 300 viewers on average.

I love this game but frankly I am tired of doing Asura 300 times, Masts 200 times, and Tomb 30 times. All that in the past 3 months, it's not enough for me. I might sound like a whiner but that's just me.
