It's ok. Besides from outfits(armor) there isn't much customizing to be had unless you pay money and it's mandatory to do so, since things like thigh highs hair and underwear aren't buyable from players.
gameplay wise it's a lot of the same shit as this, it's free form combat you move around a lot avoiding hits and spamming the same moves over and over again depending on which cuck you picked at the start.
Also upgrading is pso1 status where it breaks your weapon easily.

Okay for real, when was the last time pso2 had any relevant content? Unleashed Prestige was an utter disappointment but it at least gave everyone free 13* (which made all of the content in the game even easier than it already was). Slightly harder PD and Vegas have done nothing to invigorate the game.

We have so many 13* that they are pretty much 11* of EP2. More doesn't really increase easiness of getting since collection files also expire, but is here just for variety.

Sega pretty much just wants more weapon variety after killing pretty much everything 10 to 12* so they sidegrade 13*.

Was new to Ranger and curious what I should be doing as a rotation during boss stun/etc. I see most rangers just mash out End Attract/Sneak Shooter/One Point but I wasn't sure how optimal that was, but checking the JP wiki confuses me even more. Is Homing Emission really 841 over Sneak Shooter? Is EA 858 if it only hits once, Or will multiple hits increase the DPS over what's listed even further?

that chart only lists dps on controlled, static environments which i guarantee you is only 1% of the time applicable in game.

ranger even more so as a big chunk of it's damage depends a lot on weakpoints/headshots, so even if it has lower listed dps, if it consistently hits weakpoints (cluster bullet, diffuse shell, satellite cannon, etc) it will do more damage in the end

homing emission specifically is also difficult to have all its' shots land consistently on a weakpoint, and in the first place require a lot of targetable parts to maximize the projectiles.
end attract pierces enemies and can hit multiple times. the reason it's so strong is that on a boss, it can inflict damage multiple times on one part

in addition, because each and every boss has a different moveset and behavior (and weakpoint location) the best way is just go into the field, find the boss, test out your PAs, and see which one does the most damage consistently! (or watch youtube/nicos of mlg players and see what they do)

Another question with SS in general is how SS applies to PAs. The JP wiki either doesn't talk about it or google translate doesn't translate it well enough for me to find it, and google isn't giving me as concise answers as I'd like. Specifically, something like EA that cancels SS after use. Does SS take effect mid-EA charge? Activating EA without having standing snipe will procc it mid-charge and apply the multiplier, or do I need to have SS before hitting the JA ring?

standing snipe is applied when you do not move in *any axis* for 1 second.
it is lost when you are moved by another entity (enemy), as you're falling, and if the PA has forced motion.

the damage bonus is applied if the standing snipe effect is active when you press the PA button. even if the PA itself moves you (Impact Slider, End Attract), if you didn't move for 1 second before the PA is activated, the damage bonus is applied until the PA ends.

there is a ring that applies a visual effect on your character's feet if standing snipe is active. it might take a few resources to obtain but it may help in figuring out how it works.
