Blood of Sargeras are BoP and there is no merchant to spend them at. They're used to update crafting gear, which does not require you to have a profession yourself. You can use them to update any crafted gear you might be wearing.

So, double gathering is actually a decent idea for Legion. You buy the gear off the AH, use your bloods on them, and then after you have no use anymore, you can just vendor any extras you get, while still making bank from all the stuff you can put on the AH

The "successful" DKs, as in those who integrate in society well enough to be productive, aren't really the "I'm a twisted fucking psychopath" type. It's just the easiest path to take. They have cold personalities, but that's as much due to what they are as it is from how others treat them.

Look up established DK characters, read up about their background and what they're like to give you a general idea.

Look at each race and then ask yourself how traditional your character was when they were alive. How does becoming un-fucking-dead change those values? A draenei wholly believes in the Light, for example, but as an undead they become the one thing they hate the most.

Being DK is not a personality in and of itself, it's a filter that changes someone's life/personality in a profound way.

I'm tired of all these doom and gloom expansion packs. Why does everything always have to be the end of the world? They should make a vacation expansion in the south seas, Tel'abim and shit.

Imagine a new "continent" that's a BUNCH of small/medium sized islands, with non fatiguing ocean between them and underwater zones/treasures too. Give each player a customizable ship they can command to actually sail, no loading screens, between islands. Throw in some naval combat (provided the engine doesn't shit itself) and you're all set. The raids could be like a bloodsail pirate fortress or beating up on neptulon to stop a hurricane from ruining your favorite beach. Enough with the demons, cultists, and zombies.

I hope you dont have such a bland and shallow personality that you can't imagine how you yourself would behave and think as a death knight and thus are unable to apply it to a roleplay character.

Think about what DKs are and what they do and might believe and you can apply it to a WoW char.

DKs are undead. That means they feel little, negative emotions are amplified. They are almost impervious to physical attacks (mostly piercing) and dont need to breathe. They are constantly haunted by shadow fiends, scratching at the border of their minds.

DKs are insanely strong (physically) and their weapons are gruesome, powerful and mostly extremely heavy. They are almost always encased in the heaviest and thickest of armor, mostly saronite (which grants anti-magic properties) but also hinders their movement somewhat (they are lumbering, to a degree).

They can be "normal" but even their "normal" is influenced heavily by the constant discomfort, hunger and annoyance they experience. They are constantly tormented, their only relief when they can drown themselves in carnage, which is what they were made for.
Not saying that they can't "ignore" it. Many DKs are able to, because they have an insanely strong will. I had a lengthier discussion about that once and I proposed that with a weaker will, DKs and undead in general (Forsaken e.g.) would just commit suicide because their entire existence is massive bullshit.

DKs know how useful and powerful they are and especially during the WotLK campaign, many wanted to throw themselves into battle and just die there. They knew they had no place in the world.
I suppose after that many reached the conclusion that their role doesnt end after the LKs death and that they can still be of service to Azeroth.

DKs usually have a family left somewhere and they know that they should love it, they just are almost unable to. So they cling to the illusion of what once was.
That last bit depends on the DK of course.

For years Blizzard was justifying their pruning of the trees by saying shit like "no one likes to level up and be like 'yay, I get +1% to hit, it's just not fun" and now we get shit like "yay I levelled up, I get +3% damage to Spinning Crane Kick"

Don't get me wrong, anything that adds more things to do is a plus, just strikes me as odd they'd flip on that stance.
