I did, but it doesn't let you search-search, it just lets you pick some criteria and slaps three of them down for you to pick from. None of the "High Ranking" groups that I was presented with looked like they were on the same page, so I made a "High Ranking" group with a comment stating we were gunning for Kurumi SRs and Puchis.

Two other guys locked in before the start (The semi-participants) and the other two dead accounts were match-makered into the team.

We've been consistently getting first place as a team, but I've also been doing anywhere between 60-100% of the work each round. I'd boot players if I could.

I don't now how the nips roll, but myself, I play the two differently.

SS might be a mobage, but I think it's made more with tablets in mind. It's way more resource hungry and involved. If you're going to play that on your commute, you'd better have a seat on that bus or train, and you won't be able to get away with dinking around with it discreetly. I only play at home, and in the few instances where I'm doing it in public, where I won't be interrupted, have my back to a wall, and nobody looking over my shoulder.

CG though, is quiet and something you can do idly with one hand. You can easily fuck around with it while waiting at a crosswalk or standing in a subway, press the menu button to back out at any time, play your own music in the background... whatever. It feels like a mobile game should - a time killer as you get from place-to-place.

You're still missing the point. The amount of content and fun you get in SS is overly massively superior to the one the mobamasu offers, and the content of mobamasu isn't that exclusive or worth. The thing is that SS is catching up and is more than just card collecting. Regular players aren't "dropping" it fully any time soon, sure. That doesn't mean they haven't cut back on how dedicated they are to playing it these days compared to in the past. That's the entire point.

Mobamasu isn't dead. It's not going to die tomorrow or the next day. But to be so adamant about it being vibrant and alive because it has more cards than Deresute is a bit silly. Of course it has more cards. Full parity wasn't going to be reached in a year. But there are definitely less people playing Mobamasu in favor of Deresute than there were half a year ago.

I think that saying CG will just "Die" is unlikely. Like normal CCG, the cost to spit out a couple pieces of CG art and flavor text that happen to have stats to match, even including the server costs, are probably easily covered by 10% of the whales, if not more.

It would need to have some huge damned losses in order to fall in the red, and I think there will always be enough of a community there to prevent that for a long time.

Sure, the game part of it is obviously far better. But people who play CG don't play that shit for gameplay. Because there is no "gameplay" there. Just paying and card collecting. Why would they just drop everything they've collected when they can keep at that and dabble in the new thing as well?
This is why SS gives exclusive cards in events and as SSRs, to tempt the collectors.

I just wish they started "moving" the idol radios like Majiawa and shit to SS, as well as the CD stuff, including adding the Cinderella Master SRs to SS.

The one thing that I'll give CG over SS is the trading system. One anon said that it cheapens the value of the SS cards if it were to ever be included, but I know from experience that saving up the stams in order to get that one card you really wanted, or to get the second part to the SR from that event ranking, is a real challenge. At the very least, you know that you can trade off all the cards you don't actually want and put them towards something that you do, but when event item SRs only go for one stam, and Gacha/Ranking SRs seem to start at 200, the grind can take months, but you know that everything you do slowly works towards it. SS's lack of a trade system means everything is a star jewel crap-shoot, even if you roll on the "Idol Type" days.

SS has burdened me with so many idols I am just not interested in, but am reluctant to just burn as lesson-fuel because I know they have some rarity, and in the back of my mind, murphy's law is just laughing at me - waiting for me to use the cards as fuel, only to introduce the trade system immediately afterwards.
