Can't think of any, aside from having little quirks like individual stats for anal, each personality having different starting stats, etc. It's a prequel and it shows.

It's handy in that it can run on older operating systems, and by the looks of it, it's last few updates added beta support for VR.

You have to understand, this guy Toshizi, he is a 3D Custom Girl modder first and foremost. He only dabbles in Custom Maid 3D.

In 3D Custom Girl, there is a standard password that all of the community uses. Anytime you upload to TechArt's official uploader it's expected that you use this password.

The "基本"(kihon) or "standard" password for the 3D Custom Girl community is "custom".

All lowercase, six letters, one word.

I really love how she turned out. She's a personal maid. When I was making the story outline I wanted a "cool" type character to contrast the red head's fiery personality. Was going to make a serious Rei Ayanami/Blanc/Hikage type character but had a lot of difficulty with it since I'm not actually too fond of those characters myself.

Basically, was going for the Red Oni/Blue Oni trope:

But rather than focus on her being serious I decided instead to make her obsessed with being the ideal maid. I dressed her in the same maid set as Secretary Maid because I thought she'd look up to her, but gave her some small details to show some individuality as well like glasses, fingerless gloves, red nail polish, pink lipstick, etc.

AA2 translation
31 personalities
Most dialogue are generic one liners for static interactions, something like 20 or less interactions per personality.
Give or take 620 lines of dialogue.
Game has been out for two years.

CM3D2 translation
5 personalities and one more on the way
An entire storymode's worth of dialogue in addition to daily interactions, interactions triggered by different stats, classes, and relationship statuses(without considering VIP events). Hard to estimate exact amount of dialogue per personality, but easily over 100 lines of dialogue. Probably closest to 200-300.
300 lines of dialogue x 6 personalities = 1800 lines
Game has been out for one year.

Going by the numbers these are the reasons why AA2 is translated and CM3D2 isn't. There are people on Hongfire still translating but right now they're working on specific personalities rather than all of the system and story text. For reference, CM3D1 hasn't been fully translated either. We may get a CM3D3 before a translation if we get one at all.

Best example that I could remember from it was someone showing off how a fan made DLC added tons of quests and fully voiced content for free, versus a paid mod that only added a fishing pole for $6.99. There is no official DirectX above 9 for XP. Though there were unofficial backports for DirectX10, I have no idea how well they work or how to get them.
