Combat just doesn't work. Thankfully there is a cheat button called Naoto. and another pair of cheat buttons called Free DLC personas with overpowered abilities.

Unfortunately, no matter how much you trivialize the combat you still have to do it every 12 steps or so. And you can only carry 40 vanish balls because they added overall inventory restrictions of 60 items. And there is no way to meaningfully mitigate random battles. And you are restricted to 12 persona slots even though you have 20 characters who use personas.

It's like they made a bunch of mechanics and didn't think about how they influenced each other.
