You used to grind hiera and synd to get keys before the new prime drop, when it did, you blew all quick ones and hoped for RNG to be kind. If it was you were fucked, time to grind synd or crawl rec chat for people who still have their piles, and once you got all the shit from the quick ones you'd settle in for the grind in Defense, Survival or Intercept (except back then you could cheese the fuck out of intercept using blindspam mirage which made it boring, but easy).

Now you prep by grinding synd and then blowing medalions to get the new relics, then you pray for RNG to be kind. Then you force it to be not quite the stubborn angry cunt that it's always been, but it still ain't kind. More often that you'd think it'll mock you with 4x forma. And if it's not kind, well, settle in for the grind of hieracon so you can get more keys.

The only difference is that now you don't get ducats as a consolation prize for RNG raping you mercilessly.

Now you just get more grind. More RNG rape. That's it.
