I think it will trigger if it's any of the 30 original orbs on the board, but any additional orbs that fall past that 30 won't trigger it.

It's really interesting as while it makes her a lot harder (and luck reliant like anubis) to play, she can also scale her damage near perfectly without having to worry about skyfall too.

I think her main problem is that she has no damage reduction outside of her LS, but I guess Susano was planned to be a staple in her team from the start.

LS wise she still seems better than everything but Iza though. Ame is only decent if you will never get hit unless they recant and give her 50%+, Shotabros is rainbow osobos at the worst possible time, Oku has none of the survivability he was known for and massive orb requirements etc.

Unless you're trying to sweepfarm four straight board changers won't be that great. I use 2 on my anubis team and he can still hit 8-9 combo on most boards. It's really when you have to guarantee a 9 or 10 combo they come in handy. At least Kushi's scaling isn't on 9 combo and over and her smaller damage will be a lot easier to hit for when it's needed.

Ame is fucking great if you have her subs. She's basically Mhera but with massive HP instead. Those teams were always about hyperfarming and now she can farm better since her LS can fit inherits better & she can more than likely stay above 80% on preemptives more often because of high ass HP. Her normal active also somewhat covers her RCV problems.

Her main drawbacks are her niche as fuck subpool but red devils definitely exist.

Yes because combo leads are so popular there. You know Anubis was decently popular before 7x6 even existed right? Kushinada can hit 8-10 combo fine on majority of boards, and the ones you can't are where actives come into play.

Her problem isn't the skyfall mechanic imo, it's the fact the games newest content all hit so hard damage shields are near required and all of JP2 outside of Iza didn't get shit. They're all glass cannons.

I actually like the fact you don't rely on skyfall for her combos, it makes it a much better skill requirement than Anubis' who more or less relies on skyfalls on so many boards.

You can expect your HP buffer to be ~15k unless you go full 0 rcv. The best thing she has going for her is yet another red leader that can abuse Scarlet. 2x RCV means you will have around 8k hyper with your higher rcv options. Nowhere near 3 hearts is enough like MHera. Decent enough for a solo version of her team to stomp through easy shit sure.

For Co-op mindless farming she's competing with Anima who doesn't have to fool around with the 80% garbage. Dragons also add great sub choices.

If she goes with a +2x step per combo her damage for the effort will be great. +1x or +1.5x step and it will be insane. The stream was talking about how the skyfalls wouldn't happen until your combo was over - I'm assuming this means your cascades resolve then you get a board drop that may have orbs stuck together.
Her active has a niche that you can still take a hit which is nice, but it's still too long cd. If they don't want it to be under 10 give it a bit more of a utility bump like a long duration +TE or orb spawn, otherwise a real burst skill is still better.

Her damage multiplier will merely be good, which is fine. My issue with that is that the skyfall portion it is still a disadvantage and deserves some sort of utility buff. Hp/RCV bonus would be nice, but given woods lack of TE (hope you have Perseus, or Kaede who is a better leader), Miru's also makes sense.

She's still in a much better position than U&Y or Okuni who got smacked with high orb requirements.

If they gave U&Y's active haste or made it 3 of 4 or added hearts in they would be pretty beast and an updated version of the old 4 color leads before we got flooded with TE. As it is now they just have too many downsides. High activation requirements, no access to water TEs, low durability.
I can't see playing them when I also have Sarasvati who does that niche much better and can use all of water's potential.

Kanye West wasn't better than Izanagi. When Izanagi was first released he was a premier sub since he was the god-type slime and the spike teams wanted him. Then leader skills kept getting better and spike teams didn't bring damage enhance actives often, then he had 3.5x RCV for a short time and led to funny screenshots and Muse came out with a better active.

It's not like Ame was ever good except for a short time when Shiva Dragon players (and I guess red norse/greek players) used her for bind clearing. U&Y haven't been good since Sakuya got her first ultimate. Okuni has been a good monster and he seems like skill inherit fodder now which is lame for anyone praying he would get heart crosses and need 6 combo for damage but oh well.

Awoken Izanagi was really misleading for the pantheon since he changed a lot but none of the others did.

The only "Powercreep" part about Heart Cross is the multipliers.
I personally think that taking the multipliers to 7x was too much and now we're going to expect retarded dungeons that have pre-empt 30k damage and 20m health because 7x is the new "standard".
Hitting 1 mil on a single card was pretty fucking big, but now you have to hit that or you die on floor 4 of 7.
