Never ever do a 3x pull on anything, period. Ever. Do three single pulls instead if you want 3 relics. Your odds and cost are the same and you can stop and save some mythril if you get something you want on the first or second pull, something you can't do with a 3x pull.

Mastering thief is not an immediate reward, it's something you'll see when you're a mime/freelancer dualwielding the chicken knife and ragnarok while you rapidfire spellblade flare the shit out of the endgame content.

But yeah, it's actually a pretty marginal increase over Ninja, so I wouldn't recommend finishing Thief first to anybody.

It only gives you +16 instead of +14, which is silly to minmax when you could've been dual wielding by now.

The worst part is that there's nothing good to steal for 99% of the game

I can think of two really useful steals before the endgame begins.
You can get a really strong dagger from the objet d'arts in the basement, and you can get a really good rod (for breaking) from the metamorphs in ghidos cave.

Of course there's Gilgamesh too, but most of his steals don't happen until super late in the game either.

Most of the steals are like this motherfucker. Goddam Shell Bear (who is a rare spawn in and of himself) has a 0.0000001% chance of dropping a unique spear.
And said spear is the weakest one in the game.

Thinking harder about it should I just double pull 11x on gilgamesh #1 and ignore VI banners completely? Maybe 1 pull on banner #1 and one on #2?

Now, upon checking, Mirror of Equity for Samurai seems to have the same old #603 ID that almost all ATK buff statuses have. However, Dark Bargain seems like it does NOT. Does that mean that Sephiroth can indeed use both Mirror of Equity and Dark Bargain and grant himself stacking ATK buffs? Or is Dark Bargain just mistakenly missing from the list?

LS is 30% and an attack or being attacked is 10%. Ability use is slightly more than 10% depending on how many stars it has, with like 1% extra every 2ish stars... -ish. Weakness hit adds a 1.5 multiplier to the gain.

Also it can be deceptive because its actually measured in points, and doing 3 LS and getting hit once will put you at like 1 point short, where it looks like the bar is full but the SB ball isn't active.

For LS hones, if it's a BSB, 4 hones is enough, as you'll get there in 3 + using anything or getting punched in the face, and the burst commands & 4th use will get you to it a 2nd time usually. For SB/SSB you want around 6.

There are two soft caps and one hard cap.

The other soft cap/hard cap exists when speaking of stat modification. The soft cap of buffs is +150% (or 2.5x ATK i.e. Advance) and of debuffs, -70% (unmitigated Armor BD + a SB that lowers Def/Res by 50% unmitigated).

The hard cap exists far from these soft caps but it's nearly impossible to reach.

Where are you getting that from? They literally can't ban rerolling without banning data transfer, so it's not something you can block. JP still has rerolling to this day, so if they didn't block it there they wouldn't here.

From what I know, you can still reroll using the 5 summon tickets on isle 1, plus whatever extra lapis you might have from getting there. It's only 6 pulls so it's almost guaranteed to be shit, but you have unlimited tries to make it work.

1) No. Even if you don't use SBs, the relic synergy itself becomes important. I'm speaking from a practical perspective of the game. Assuming you had access to multiple copies of r3/4/5 5* abilities than maybe it is technically "possible" but no one would play in that manner.

2) When you stop clearing content despite having good hones.

3) Retaliate can beat +++ level bosses with good strategy. Some anons here did it against Gabranth with help.

4) Crafting and honing abilities. It's more difficult, obviously, and ideally you would just hone abilities and pull for good SBs together.
