When BRs launched the 1 speed shield ops got their movement speed reduced even further for some weird reason. It got reverted so they should be in line with other 3 armour ops like Fuze now.

So FBI recruit is probably still 3 armour, but now all shields should be 3A 1S again, instead of the 3A 0S that we had for the past couple of weeks.

So no, FBI shield is probably not "back" in the sense that you guys are hoping for, but he did get slightly un-nerfed.

Yeah, i'm really happy about the semi-shotty nerf. People would say just play for your range advantage which while it was true on some maps, I had an absolutely miserable match on Plane where Pulse, Frost and Valk just bodied our entire team because on some objectves you literally cannot get a line of sight without being within their 1-shot-kill range. Combine that with peekers advantage and you have frost acing us twice in a row.

I mean, I played like shit that match anyway, but jesus christ her Super90 made me so mad that game.

I kind of like it that when this game came out, there was no notion of roamers. People stayed inside. Then people found different ways to play the game, metas were formed, and now Ubi is making roamers. I know by making roamers you help cement the meta, but it is cool how we helped shaped the game in a way by exploring new options and tricks.

Valk's SMG is pretty damn good though. 32 damage and 970 Rate of Fire means its basically Twitch's F2 but about 7 less damage. Frosts SMG is bearable, 5 extra bullets in the mag, very low recoil, VERY high damage for an SMG (Probably the most an SMG can do) Same with the UMP except less bullets and more recoil, but slightly higher Rate of fire. The one thing I can not tolerate is Caveira's SMG, 550 RPM, 36 damage (Slightly higher than average) and slightly less than normal Recoil makes it shit.

Valk and Frost as well as the UMP-45 I can tolerate, but not Caveira's.

Clever EDD placement makes Kapkan very fun to use. However most don't know good EDD placement so they just become a minor nuisance for attackers. Worst thing about Kapkan is him being so slow. It's hard to reinforce, stomp around the map to place traps before ATK spawn. He's loud as hell when he runs also so its hard to catch ATK off guard.
