This game is honestly some of the most fun I've had in years and it breaks my heart because every round in any gamemode is filled with screaming manchildren and every few weeks it's someone else's turn to become a top tier pick for a while and everyone else gets the fun sucked out of them

Braindead easy, but a good one can actually do some work. It's just a really, really low skill floor and a really high ceiling (for something so simple. The ceiling is literally just knowing when to do things or when not to, but for the average OW player, that's really hard and complicated).

I love Roadhog, I'm just saying that his hook was already one of the best abilities in the game and with the bugfix they made it even better in the same patch that they shit on the two best healers and ignored characters underpowered to the point of being unplayable like the one who recently got an animated short dedicated exclusively to them.

Whether that buff was intentional or inadvertent it just seems symptomatic of Blizzard's inability to properly balance this game in general. Yes and no. Both ults require thought, but the Medic's is always useful if you have a Heavy. Pretty straightforward. You don't ult as Mercy in certain circumstances. You just don't. The Medic's is binary. Mercy's is like, "choose one of the following three scenarios" easy. Slightly more complex. Which again, for the average OW player, is too much. Hence all the bad Mercys.

I feel like they already are fixing the defense heroes, just very slowly and not all at once. Like with Mei and Hanzo. It's not uncommon to slowly bring your chabges one by one because one buff/nerf can change the meta dramatically and in unexpected ways.

Zen actually did get a buff in the form of Genji's ult nerf. Now his ult perfectly cancels his. They're also cracking down on anim cancels like with Torb so naturally Genji would follow (don't know why they're going this direction but they are). The only Genji nerf that doesn't make sense, and it's his worst nerf, is the double jump thing.

Not all the changes were good but some do have some sense behind it. I'm hoping they do get around to fixing more heroes in the following updates.

I think they need to bite the bullet and change the shape of the hitboxes instead of the size. This way they can have big hitboxes for the hook and the arrows without weird moments caused by the edges of rectangles. Cylinders or capsules would be good.
