Yeah, because we never had abysmal diversity in the 1-1-2 meta. Or boring matches.

Oh wait, we absolutely did. It's almost like it's a quirk of the game and the teams who play it and not dependent on who goes in what lane.

He acknowledges it's bad for business, but he also acknowledges that no other organization would EVER make such massive rule changes after the regular season and before playoffs. It's not fair to the teams who sign players on for specific comps and strategies, it's not fair to the players who pull overtime to perfect strategies that may or may not be obsolete by the end of the season, it's only fair to spectators who get to see games more like their solo queue games so they can focus more on epic skin selections than having to actually follow the strategy and shot calls.

Here's a post I made around last year about what I thought the Yorick Rework would be. I made it before the poppy update.

Yorick Rework Concept
ROLE: SPLIT PUSHING JUGGERNAUT

Stats:
Tanky
Decent damage
Anivia-tier speed
Low mana

Passive: Yorick can right click a tower to haunt it, causing all minions that pass under it to become a bunch of spooky undead. When Yorick gets a kill or assist, clears an enemy jungle camp, or kills X number of minions/monsters, he gets a token he can spend to upgrade his spooky minions.
Yorick can haunt a shrine near blue buff to make it so that when he kills monsters, they resurrect as their gold’s worth in minions. A set number of these minions can follow Yorick at a time.

Q: Digs a hole, if enemy walks into hole, they are stunned for an extremely small amo
unt of time
If it directly hits a champion, they take physical damage and are slowed.
He has to stop for tiny amount of time to actually dig the hole.
Hitbox: Vel’koz E

W: A bunch of zombie hands come up around him, slowing by a small amount. Zombies detect movement, and will grab and snare anyone who tries to dash or flash in or out for a decent amount of time.
Hitbox: Slightly bigger than Nasus’ spirit fire

E: Flings a clump of dirt, if someone gets hit by the dirt, they take some physical damage and take aggro from all of Yorick’s minions. Yorick gets healed when his minion’s attack.
Travels fast but with a long wind up time.
Hitbox: Xerath E

R: Yorick summons 7 minions. If someone attacks yorick, the minions will take the damage and debuffs instead.

Interesting to think about how you thought something would be before you've seen it.

If you are, then expect a world of hurt. This community isn't sunshine and rainbows, especially in ranked.

I recommend buying Annie (mid role,) Garen (top role,) Morgana (support role,) Kayle (top/support role,) and Master Yi (jungler) as your starters.

Jump into bot games first. Give yourself about 10-25 of them before jumping in normals.

You'll want to have experience in all roles at some point, eventually.

Ranked won't be available for you until lvl 30 anyway. For your own sake, and everyone else's for that matter.

I think it's shit. His old model used to ooze personality as he appeared to be a sort of tragic figure with a mysterious origin a la dark souls aesthetics. Now he's literally just a WoW death knight. Also his new lore completely shits on him too. One of my favorite things about old Yorick was how he kind of embodied the shadow isles. No one really cared about who he was or what he did until he became a hulking monstrosity in death, and that was his entire reason for coming back, he just wanted people to remember him. But now his new lore is that he was some sort of super-important death monk figure before the shadow isles, and now that it's the shadow isles, he uses le dark evil spoops as his army to fight against the dargness, so now he's just another boring 'fight ebil with ebil' character. Essentially Riot's Illidan. it's really dumb.

The important thing is his skills now do overall less BONUS AD damage. They didn't touch the base values, which was what they needed to do instead of whatever bullshit this is.

Crit builds give a lot of bonus AD, due to the crit multiplier from his passive. Pen builds are usually lower on the bonus AD until late-game. When you can get some crit. Pen builds rely more on his base values, which haven't been touched.

Jhin is now doing 40% less bonus AD damage from his W and R.

A level 9 Jhin with Ghostblade+Duskblade will have 77+60+75 AD.
