Run an optimized and cleaner version of windows and maybe you wouldn't crash.
I run windows 7 on workstation level, with an i7, AMD Fury X, 16GB DDR4, RAM, almost clean install of windows. BnS never crashes for me.
Low Frame Rates are just a part of the trade but the crashing is your fault, not BnS's

Infact most games that people complain about problems, I never have problems with, because most people are too fucking stupid to learn to run a PC properly.

what you are asking for is impossible...
there is no way to make sure the game runs without an error or conflicts
most of them can be avoided by various tests but you will never have something that is supported by everything and runs without a conflict
and yes if the game is crashing you are the one solving the problem not anyone else, you are the one playing the game with your hardware and the software/operating system in it

I did not crash in BnS even once when I was running on an AMD card, when I upgraded to Nvidia 970 I started to get crashed from many spells in SSP and Zaiwei only - and Zaiwei much more than SSP (Which SSP was just twice)

"The display driver has stopped responding" bullshit that Nvidia never cares to fix because they shit out so many green cards they don't have to worry about losing sales.

Meanwhile AMD's drivers are great, if not for the tacky control panel. Yet people still act and believe that AMD cards are an inferior product.

AMD doesn't have the best of the best when it comes to speed, but they run stable and have less problems. I abandoned Nvidia for this very reason years ago.

I agree with you 100% from my own experience. I started with Nvidia, it overheated and caused problems. Upgraded to AMD, got another AMD and then a third AMD and all were without problems. Last one got replaced by the Nvidia 970 because everyone said it was the best option that I knew and trusted, and that AMD I was using has fucked up fans which I decided Id just replace with a card as I was due for one.

Always had better experienced with AMD versus Nvidia.

Literally every one of my friends who work in the tech industry has swapped over to an AMD card for this very reason.
My friend who works at intel fab, my friend who works at Boeing IT, and my friend who works for Dell IT business, and myself. All of us have gaming rigs that have AMD cards in them because they're more stable, and have better drivers.

You can only take so much from green shit before you get fed up, and head off to another company.

If you prioritize stability, Nvidia is a nightmare.

Gotta agree with this. I'm still using an almost 1 year old driver, because everytime I update it, it craps old games. Last time I updated, Dragon Age Inquisition started to stutter like mad and Fallout 4 was crashing on start up. I reverted back and everything was fine again.

Here's what I checked just now since I didn't bother earlier. I probably missed some abilities that were changed but here's the main DPS shit. + for buffs and - for nerfs. Additionally, we get a draw stance block, so that's something as well.

[LIST OF THINGS]
Flicker
+ Damage modifier from 2.5 to 3.6(!)
+ Added 6% heal from damage dealt
+ Decreases Dragontongue CD by 2 sec on hit
+ Made into a frontal cone aoe(!)

Dragontongue
+ CD 6 sec (from 2,5), can now be reduced by flicker (rotation becomes LMB LMB LMB RMB instead of like 5x LMB between RMBs so it's a buff)
+ Damage modifier from 8.5 to 11(!)
- No additional damage on grabbed or bladestormed targets (nerf, but overall damage buffed)
- No longer generates focus(!)
+ No longer switches out of draw after 4
+ AoE with flame dragon
+ No CD with flame dragon (= when you tab, you get 3 seconds of dragontongue spam)
- Decreases CD of lunar slash by 1 sec, down from 4

Lunar Slash
+ Generates 5 focus, up from 4
+ Flame dragon for 3 seconds

Lightning/Flame Draw
- Same shit as lightning except it does less DoT (12, down from 16)
+ Generates threat as fire

Blade Call/Phoenix Wing
- Instantly deals 12 damage (lightning is 24 dot so HALF!)
+ Dragontongue does 0.8 additional damage for the duration
+ Dragontongue is a 3 meter aoe
- Same shit otherwise

Overall, it's hard to say if it's a buff or a nerf as I now cannot tell if we'll be able to stay in draw stance at all times with these changes. Dragontongue no longer recovers focus so we'll be relying on lunar slash and draw 2 to get it. HOWEVER, dragontongue can now be used much more often, so supposing we don't now run into focus problems, it should be a buff.

Would it be worth it to swap Asura Necklace/Bracelet for Awakened or maybe True Oathbreaker? I'm at over 220 crit damage and almost 55% crit chance but only around 700 piercing. Don't think I'd be able to afford going any further than one of the Oath stages at the moment.

Yeah it does. Mostly it starts getting fun once you get most of your class's actual core skills and some skill points to play with (~30-40). The PvE is relatively fun and PvP is a blast if you don't mind fast paced/slightly stressful stuff.

You won't unlock some of your skills for a while. The main thing to worry about that I neglected was to keep your gear up to date. Some of the upgrade weapons are difficult to solo so I was stuck using a quest reward weapon till I beat Act 4. If you ask for help here you can almost always get a carry.

Also if you leave your soul shield for too long you'll eventually run into areas where you just start dying too much since a single attack might take a third of your HP. Usually happens around mid Cinderlands.
