I hope we get a cool event with Underlord or Monkey King this year. I felt pretty fucking cheated last year when all we got was a shitty custom game which they haven't updated. I want something like Diretide or Frostivus again.

Also, more comics and lore. Does Valve have a department for lore and stuff? Last 2 comics have been cliffhangers, with the recent one feeling really random.

It just feels like Valve have been focusing on the stuff which is making them money recently, and even a lot of that stuff just feels lazy. They've set too high expectations for themselves.

A sentry is 100g and in case he leaps away he didn't get a kill on you and you wasted his time. Slark as a hero is really dependent on snowballing. Just a few failed ganks and his entire game is ruined.
Also if he gets out so easily you obviously didn't bring stuns or heavy slows and that means you wouldn't have killed him anyway.

Pretty much never. I have learned that every game can be thrown. I won games where my team got mega'd at 30 minutes and we throned them at 60 after defending base for 30 minutes. hi dotards, how can I improve? I'm a 4K player and would like to try and push for 5K, but I feel like there's not many resources other than get gud xd, and it's quite obtuse at times as to how you need to improve. My main theory is to watch replays and to watch pro games to try and pick up things better players are doing. My actual mechanical skill is top notch due to playing starcraft for years at a diamond league level, so while I don't usually mid if I play invoker/zeus/other heroes i'm used to I generally go 50/30 in last hits at 10 minutes, but tend to lose games because my decision making is poor in comparison. is there any way to get around this other than watching and critiquing my own play, because I see no other options. It's hard to find your own mistakes, especially when it comes to decisionmaking. Stacking with a friend and regularly playing together will soon give you an idea of the general playstyle of the other and you can then talk about things the other should try to improve if you aren't someone who gets super salty when criticized.
Maybe go over a replay together and talk about things. Just don't become one of those cancer stacks that only sees the mistakes of the other players on your team and ignore your own. Those stacks never improve.

It's problem is being that mid game item you rush on initiators to be tanky, but there's so much fucking magic damage in this game now.
Its stats are also real shitty. And the active gives a whopping 2 armor. Yeah like that'll make a difference.
It's a 3550 gold item. How many items in the 3000-4000 area are actually good?
Everything that gets regularly picked is either in the 2000 or 5000+ range.
It should give

10 to all stats
10 armor
10 hp/s
400hp
Make the Recipe cost 1200 gold

And the active should block 75 damage and grant 5 armor aura for the duration.
And its cooldown should be 30 seconds, not 46.

There, now it's actually viable for tanking up and the active can make a difference.

Crimson Guard should have a linkens effect but for autoattacks.
Every 6 seconds, it completely blocks an autoattack's damage. Not the secondary effects, but just the damage. You can still get bashed, but the whole damage instance is negated. There you go.

Is bane a good support? HE seems good on paper but his Q is pretty much worthless ONLY BECAUSE brain sap and nightmare effectiveness scaling up with levels. So you basically have to level the brain sap and nightmare over enfeeble.

The other problem is he can't farm, he can't engage multiple targets and he is frail. Short range on his abilities too. So you basically need aether lens.

Is bane even worth picking over lion?

nowadays even if you go 10-0 in the first 10 minutes, the enemy 0-3 support with 0 cs will pop out with 3k+ gold items from a single teamfight where you didn't even die
