blitz + falling + thrust
blitz + thrust + falling
stick an SP waking stone on wild star and spam it
wind up 5m from boss and falling when it approaches
press right click after blocking

I know they removed the attack movement scaling with attack speed when they revamped lann, not sure about how it affects invuln. Not all dodges are affected by speed either.

You obviously know jackshit about combat. Vindictus couldn't even implement basic jump while PSO2 seamlessly interweaves air and ground combat with weapons that specialize in staying in the air for example. Vindictus just gives you parts you can break off often one per boss that do barely anything and rely on gimmicks, PSO2 separates bosses and even normal mobs into many segments with different damage modifiers which raises skill ceiling considerably when you need to hit a small point that moves to maximize damage. PSO2 relies on tight timing on skills where something like Mirage Escape is rare as fuck compared to Vindictus giving every character 1 second windows on defensive skills, PSO2's step is around 0.2 second for example.

Then you have stuff like weapons with more usable moves that are all distinctive that the average Vindi character. Weapons that you can switch mid-fight. Battles with normal mob enemies that aren't just total filler and are as depth as boss battles. Better performance and netcode. Not needing dedicated hosts with 25k attack or kick restriction on newer content. Etc etc. You don't even have stupid shit like characters where you need to pay for attack speed and crit to play comfortably. 1% of Vindictus' pay to win.

And if you can't make something decent looking in the character creator it's purely your fault. The weightlessness is another word for extremely responsive combat where you don't need to pay for attack speed or random ranting of Hurkbabby.

I'm actually taking a break from pso2 right now because of Delia even if she was a mistake.

I can't say which combat I like better, but pso2 does have more variations in terms of what you can do. Vindi's combat is a lot smoother and definitely has better bosses.

PSO2's ingame models are bad, I blame the vita. Much more dressup options though which I really love. Delia is still cuter than anything from PSO2 except maybe for Matoi.

The enemy bodies feel like empty husks when you hit them, the hit drag feels much more fake and crude, boss and character animations being complete shit are some things that contribute to the weightlessness. Weapon movesets are much more basic and shallow as well. If you think Vindy's combat is unresponsive at all or unresponsive until you stack attack speed then you're a shitter of the highest caliber and need to bleach yourself.

And the connection to nip servers is in no fucking way better. If anything, it's guaranteed to be forever below average because there's no host/server within your region.

Actually it's probably unfair to put Arisha on the same tier as Evie there. Evie players, specifically Scythe Evie players have YEARS of being the shittiest, whiniest, stupidest players with a raging persecution complex, and all the people who I could describe as literally mentally ill that I've met in Vindictus play Scythe Evie primary or secondary. I don't know what it is specifically about Scythe that attracts extremely stupid broken people but it's a phenomena I've documented for ages now.

To be fair this is the exact same as in Vindictus unless you're playing Hurk or something.

Einrach has really opened my eyes as to how awful Vindictus is in some aspects such as boss design with garbage hitboxes and attack patterns. There's also almost non-existent degree of boss interaction compared to DMC since you can only stagger/down a boss like once every 10 minutes so most of the time you're whaling on this big blob of HP that does its own thing (once again, unless you're Hurk and maybe Lynn).

Vindictus hit properties are much less relevant since you just need to hit the boss and don't need to worry whether the hitbox is prioritizing closest of farthest parts to score the hit on that 2x damage core. Hitbox intricacies in PSO2 are way more important and deeper. PSO2 has also much more pronounced positional properties with PAs lifting you in the air, letting you stay in the air or dropping you down, different levels of piercing through target, dashes that work or don't work in Z axis, and more. Vindictus has several attacks that rely on your connection like Iset's sand explosion AoE in 1st phase while PSO2 has pretty much none. Vindictus hitboxes are bad enough that players notice it with 0.6 second of invincibility on button press while PSO2 plays fine with 0.17.

PSO2 uses 3 attack buttons you can also set to weapon action with the newest system and one modifier key you can freely assign. So no you won't have less buttons in a Fighting game. PSO2 is also less effective because it's no 2D with effectively two directions and autolock on one enemy. Input system is good and only key inefficient compared to fighting games/DMC because you can't afford to be locked on and for directional keys to modify attack inputs when you have free camera.

And again stop with the Delia example because it proves jackshit. You can solo shit with handicaps but it doesn't change the fact that you have handicaps you need money to remove and your solo times will be blasted by another person just as skilled but with attack speed. Just because a complete retard can get blown out by undergeared people doesn't mean shit. Refusing to say that attack speed is important and locked behind shit tons of money doesn't make anyone goldbuyer or shitter.

Vindictus has constant FPS drops for me on i5 4690k and radeon 390 and it did on my previous rig while PSO2 is rock solid. Stop bringing Vita into it too since if you have PC to play Vindictus on you can easily play PSO2 on it with better performance.

Attack speed is the most expensive stat to increase. You get huge gains from enhancing which is runes + RNG above 11. Then you have Fast scrolls that again need other scrolls to offset balance loss. All of that is expensive and requires tons of money ingame or NX. With things like runes at best you can pay someone to buy NX for you meaning you are always in the NX circulation system anyway. "I got 40m drop and managed to get gear with gold" doesn't change shit

You are playing a game where you are almost required to enhance your weapon to +10 and use NX items to help you with it and the only way to bypass it is buying the whole weapon or buying NX for gold from other players that doesn't stop the fact that Nexon is profiting either way since someone has to pay. PSO2 never had pay to win with weapon grinding. Hell the first system was just pay and get sent back 1-3 levels and people complained it was annoying and RNG could double meseta cost which wasn't terrible unless you were never player. They instead added new system where you get exp for your weapons by fusing them that doesn't even contain RNG besides extra success chance and is cheaper than previous one.

Here on East, S3 boats regularly still get attack requirements. If it's not on the title, there's still a good chance the host will kick you.

Except the threshold for winning in this game isn't at +15. What you are expected to do in this game is contributing to killing the fucking boss without dying, and nothing ever requires a +15 for that. The only thing a +15 does is make it happen faster, and the saved raid time doesn't actually fucking pay off the time invested in that +15 at all.
