All my characters are at level 100 but a rogue (level 60) and my chill tauren druid which is just fresh level 1.
Which one should i boost?
The rogue for the profs (skinning + lw) or the druid?
I assumed the druid could be easily levelled as either tank or healer with dungeon-queue-chaining, while the rogue will have a bad time as a dps in queues alone.

Leveled 3 character on a pvp server so far, you gotta get lucky and hope the group your phased with doesn't start attacking each other. If you're horde try to farm in barrens if you're alliance try to farm in dun since you can disable pvp in those even on a pvp realm. Other than that spam aoe and constantly be moving, once you get to the 90's people stop ganking you since it takes more than 1 button press.

Is it normal for Ret to hit for so little? I'm ilvl 715 and I hover at around 30k dps on raider training dummies (top out at 32k with wings). In pvp I get /laughed at by pretty much every other class capable of kiting and backpedaling while shooting me to death. It feels really silly when I catch up to a Hunter and get a swing off only to barely dent him and have him jump away to kite all over again.

I know it's still prepatch but other classes are doing so well, it feels like they're just going to get even stronger come 110 and artifacts yet Ret will just be passable. I really really want to play the class but it's just so disheartening in its current state.

So first survival. It got turned into melee in an expansion where there is a severe saturation of melee. At least it isn't leather. Complex rotation, clunky mechanics, desperately needs some numbers tuning in current iteration. Keep a large distance unless you're willing to completely sacrifice performance for style.

BM and MM both have been severely simplified. BM kept mobility but MM has to cast their main filler while stationary most of the time. Both lost a lot of self sustain and defensive cooldowns (but then again every spec did). BM does better with tightly clumped targets and since it has a pet, will naturally have a harder time switching targets or dealing with spread targets. MM's single target rotation and aoe rotation are the exact same, meaning it doesn't have to sacrifice primary target dps to cleave. You also don't have to deal with a pet, so swapping targets is easier. The two perform pretty close in practice but MM sims higher in most situations and will probably scale better, so if slaying dragons is your thing make that your priority.

There is no difference between bows and guns. Make an orc.
