Well, it's Japan. The main character's waifu is basically always the girl that gets introduced first. When it's not, there tends to be some major drama in the fan base since they can't cope. Like those Sakurafags in Naruto threads.

DAMAGE IN GRANBLUE IS OBTUSE.

The shit displayed on your profile is only somewhat related to how much damage you'll actually do. Your actual damage is calculated by taking your base (weapon + summon + job) attack and multiplying it by a bunch of different modifiers, namely Normal, Magna, Unknown, Elemental, Normal Backwater, Magna Backwater, Unknown Backwater and Stamina/Frontwater.

The actual formula is Raw ATK * (1 + normal) * (1 + magna) * (1 + unknown) etc.

What this means is that if you have a raw ATK of say 30k, a pool of 10 SLVL10 large ATK magna weapons with magna summon will have 120k attack, while a pool of 8 SLVL10 with an SLVL10 unknown and an SLVL10 SR Baha will have 152k. Diversity in multipliers is important.
