I had a game earlier where Jake was crouching in the fucking exit, self healing, and I was standing back, trying to signal him that he could leave through the hatch that was right outside the exit. I stood there, waiting for him to just leave through the exit or the hatch, but he just kept on self healing. I finally had enough and hit him right before he was done healing and hooked him because he was to stupid to stand right next the the invisible wall. After the game, I called him a greedy nigger and told him he should have left through the hatch, and his team mates agreed. But you know hat he responded with? "Who cares man I won xd I got 16k BP". They don't understand that getting enough BP to stave off a derank isn't winning the game, it is still losing, and it is direct outcome from how shitty and unbalanced this game is.

The Nurse is so broken. Whenever I see a survivor, it becomes a game of "Where is the nearest hook" I don't need to chase. I don't need to look, or play smart. I just hit them and find a hook. Sometimes, someone jukes my out while I'm blinking, but even then, I still haven't gotten anything lower than 3 kills a match. I feel so guilty playing as her, its so unfair.

free weekend pleb here, been following the game since beta through some streams

thought the whole game would just get dropped after the first cash grab wave, still somewhat questioning with starbreeze being involved for the infinite DLC to come with high prices

Depending on your skill, you can easily wipe an average team as a killer with no perks. Perks help, but aren't needed. I picked up killer after a bit of a grind as survivor and I can easily wipe as Hillbilly. Sure, I got rank 3 Iron Grasp before I hit level 5 but you don't necessarily need something like that. With a skilled killer you can easily get tons of points from matches that you don't really need to spend, and from there save up points for other things.

With killers the best perks are mostly not exclusive to certain killers, so just level up a killer and you'll have a nice set up eventually.

With survivors getting an OP build requires leveling up Meg, Claudette and Jake. Of course, you don't need such a build to be successful.

They're not really that necessary. They make certain things easier sure, but they won't increase your survival chance if your garbage at the game.

If you can't lose a killer, then sprint and self-heal are useless to you.

If you still get hooked even after you've taken 3 hooks, then what are you doing?

The only perks I truly believe are 100% beneficial are premonition and spine chill. They're early alerts that can greatly increase your chances of survival because it reduces the direction guess by a ton.

My strategy is to chainsaw from generator to generator to find survivors. Lots of killers tell you this.
The trick is to not make it predictable.
Immediately when you start the match, chainsaw to the FARTHEST generator. Survivors typically don't spawn near you.
If you suspect that survivors are near the generator already (pistons are pumping, there are scratch marks, breathing etc.), start searching (follow scratch marks, listen for breathing, listen for crows).
If you don't see any signs of survivors, continue your patrol. Make sure you don't STOP at a generator unless you see one of the aforementioned signs, since you want to make sure your chainsaw sprints are as long and uninterrupted as possible - this makes it easier to catch survivors off-guard.
Once you find a survivor, I shouldn't have to tell you what to do.

Additional notes: Distressing is fantastic for finding survivors. It increases your terror radius, which will unnerve survivors and make them think "Shit he might be coming here" and sprint away - leaving behind scratch marks for you to see from far away.

Why is the difference between a 2-pip survivor game and a 2-pip killer game so fucking huge? I 2-pip a bit as survivor and it tends to be pretty easy. A couple generators, a couple hooks, a heal or two, MAYBE a hook save if you can't find much to heal

But I finally just got my first 2-pip game (well I was literally 14 points off on fucking brutality) and that was one of the closest games of my fucking life. CONSTANT hitting, downing, hooking, and chases between me and those guys, ending with a REALLY satisfying Cyprus Mori. It was goddamn exhilarating.

I think them just having personalized hooks and mori animations is enough. Separate sacrificing 'devices' would clog up the game too much, I think.
