Mine is inside the AA2_Play\cheats folder
\illusion\AA2\cheats\ReiEditAA2\ReiEditAA2.exe in my case
You use it to edit either characters or saves altogether. I use it mostly for saves since it's not an WYSIWYG interface. You just hit 'save' on the characters you're editing on the side of their cards. You can pretty much do anything to your saves like changing around the character's preferences and virtues as well as editing their affinity for other characters.
You can also edit cards by themselves.

Oh you make me laugh. AA2U is a piece of diabetic garbage that should not have come out in the state it is in, god knows why the dev did, perhaps to bugtest it? Nevertheless is crashes quite often and afaik there has been no updates to it recently and if there has the dev has not been vocal about it in about a month.
Please don't use it you are only hurting yourself. Just live with the 6 slots for tans in the maker and just be happy with that. Thanks.

The oval on top is extension slot 187 which also includes the earrings.
The bottom part of the second oval is side hair 12 which is pretty nice when you pair it with back hairs that are rough or wild like 190, 10 or 11.
The custom part is the rest and is pretty bad as i literally just pasted something on top of it to cover the forehead, the top also makes the head look like it's completely flat on top.
I also have a problem where i can't copy and paste in keyframes to allow elongation of that part with the rest of the hair for some reason.

Did you think of a slot number? Okay good. Change the filenames of your files that contain the hair like in pic related.
You can create an .lst by decrypting something like hexahp and copy+paste it into the file where your hair parts are.
You can edit .lst files with notepad++.
Delete all but one line and change the numbers so that it will read the filenames of your hair bits like in pic related for an example.
When all that is done, re encrypt it into a .pp using the decrypter. Stick it into the maker's data folder and test in the maker using aa2face and selecting the slot you chose.

The .xa is the keyframe animation thingy, which lets the hair be able to change in size in the maker. The .bps is the physics.

Whenever you're going card hunting, open up the editor with aa2face and check each card you download. Doing it this way also lets you know if you need to download additional hairs/etc. I also use it to see which voice fits my new waifu the best while I'm there.

Disable obseletes and before you grab a card be sure you're getting the old version.
I've noticed that the bearded cards are generally the cards with special backgrounds and they are also generally of cards that are a good few months if not a year+ old, so if you see a card with 2 versions, one from this month and one from 2015 it's obvious which is the beard.
It is really annoying though, even being careful like this I still get the odd beard slipping through so I need to keep checking them. Nothing we can really do though sadly.

is this a problem of a setting I overlooked, or some update I installed?
