Overall solid and easy to use Lancer with surprisingly good NP gain and star generation, a lot of freedom for your choice of CE on her. Good support with what's basically charisma + extra star gen on men and they list a bunch of units to pair with her for that, and that attack up stacks with the massive def down and her own crit damage up. Skills have a ton of effects with really high boosts and demerits aren't hard to work around.

Her real flaw is that the stun prevents skill cooldown from going down for that turn which is a problem other self-stunning servants have.

Order to level skills is 3 > 1 > 2 because the effects on the third skill are really crazy despite the stun and you want lower cooldown.

For now, yes, she is pretty above him. Give him an interlude and he'll close a big part of that gap. His skills are still top notch, even if they can't be aimed at the party simply because he gets so much more crit power. His NP gain is usually better as well.

So maybe you could use a command seal to make Caligula forget love and break him entirely, if you want him to be an anti-hero badly.

They're easier to use because he doesn't have a self stun but they're not better.

Charisma 2.0 shits all over his debuff resistance down,his Buster up is mainly for use on his AoE while Lancer Tamamos charm and that very same charm even is by FAR more useful than anything else he has can be applied for a varaity of cooldowns and her dodge has way more utility than Karnas UAM.

Which is even more important especially when, as Lancers,their Starweight isn't even particularly high so relying on them for crit damage isn't exactly smart or even needed really when there's other and better candidates for it such as Jalter or Raikou.

It's not just debuff resistance down, it's also good for stunning an NP for one turn, which can make a world of difference. It can also help make team debuff skills work more reliably.

The buster up, while mostly good for his NP, can also help produce powerful brave chains, which are made even better if you NPBBC.

UAM has versatility as a star gen buff, a crit damage buff, and an NP gain. The natural lancer starweight may not be extraordinary, but it's enough to get consistent crits if you aren't running any archers or riders on the front line with him, which you don't really need to begin with. I'm not saying he's better than Raikou or Jeanne Alter for crit damage, but he's a much sturdier crit option because he doesn't die as easily as either of them.

Overall, his base stats are much higher than Tamamo's which definitely comes into play. He's a primary damage dealer type with an emphasis on crits and strong busters with a side of decent star gen, whereas Tamamo is a support type who can spam her NP.

As a whole, his benefits as a package outweigh Tamamo's usefulness due to her demerits. The self stun nearly completely ruins her third skill, and the enemy NP charge is terrible, but somewhat manageable. His stats and potential damage give him an edge as a damage dealer, but not so much as a team player, which I will give to Tamamo. I would consider running them on the same team if I'm not up against sabers though, simply because her pseudo-charisma actually benefits him nicely.

That's true of pretty much all Casters, they're hot garbage and only worth anything thanks to their NP which is highly situational and difficult to use

The only exception I can think of is Tamamo, who's reversed from that usual case in that she's a decent fighter who can use her mirror as a weapon and shield in close combat to compensate for the fact that she's a Caster, but her NP is weak as hell compared to things like Gilles' cthulhu monster and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon
