Reversi scrolls won't be usable in PvP and most monsters in the current game don't have particularly threatening magic circles so it doesn't matter I don't think.

This game is dominated by dragoon2, fencer3 and murmillos.
Only good archer is musketeer c2 because of butt stroke
Cleric can still go whatever as long as they heal, blessing increase is barely noticeable anyways.
Wizard... lethargy bot for murmillo, and sage shield is godly. Chrono or don't bother.

Whether it's good depends on what it does. If it gives good extra electric damage to attacks like blessing, then combined with linker and frozen enemies, it'll do pretty crazy damage potentially.

It will help a lot if you have guardian / swift step, lots of dex and etc but the shade boots and the gloves sux.

I'm using a superior bandit shoes with one lv 5 green gem, rokas leather robe, s. bandit legs and bandit gloves (accuracy is important too). Working on my shade legs right now.

Its okay if you have a linker with you. It is insanely good single target damage, but your only aoe is wugong gu's spread + gu pot. The two classes together let you stack str, since they both thrive on it.

Healers are actually really good mages, and mages are oddly good supports.

If you want to solo, go pyrolinker. You can go pyro 2, linker 1 and be good for parties. You can go the extra distance and go linker 3 if you want to only rely on new damage skills at 7 and 8. (or suffer and go pyro 1 linker 3 so you can have 6, 7, and 8 open) You can even do that as pyro 2 linker chrono 3.

Psychokino is the other CC class along with cryo, and they work okay together. Cryo 3 Psychokino 3 would have good CC abilities and ability to do damage.

Plague Doctor is heavy PvP oriented but PD1 does fine in PvE, PD2 is even more PvP oriented and the skills have no real use in PvE so if you plan to focus on PvE i wouldn't take PD2 when rank 8 comes out
Plague Doctor with Priest3 won't deal the best of his damage but Chaplain before it is very good and smashing people with maces
PD healing factor makes your HP regen extremly fast making you hard to kill, Bloodletting gives you and whole party CC immunity and PD2 not only will do more damage but it's also the only class capable to remove buffs from people in PvP.

It doesnt make single target attacks into aoe. It works well with multishot and covering fire. It does not and will not spread snipe. It has good synergy with Archer 2/3 for multishot and little else, as ricochet like oblique shot doesnt count as aoe.
