people are talking about this in yogg decks, but did yogg decks really need huge bodies for free? Granted, it will see play in yogg decks, but I think it might have a spot in miracle rogue. It will easily cost 3-0 and it's a solid body you can throw under a conceal. It's also more consistent than vancleef sense it's always an 8/8 and it will generally cost as much if not cheaper.

So I just played a Rogue who was playing a 100% mill deck... except instead of Oracle, he used all his tech on Shadowcaster. He returned Shadowcaster to hand twice. He cast gang up on Shadowcaster. He used Shadowcasters on Shadowcasters.

I am so fucking confused right now. He wasn't putting up any real fight at all, killed him at turn 9. I don't understand what he was trying to accomplish. He even had moments where he could exploit Oracle with mill tech and he chose to cast spells on Shadowcaster instead.

You still put double of everything because when you run out of cards you can put down Reno and then safely put both of you deep into fatigue knowing you have more health than the other guy.

Brawl is retarded because unless you've got sticky minions (most of which were banished to Wild for being too strong) it just guarantees death to an entire board of minions regardless of their health or their Stealth or even if they have Divine Shield or whatever.

If I had to redesign I'd have it randomly choose a minion and then have it deal its Attack damage to all minions. Which is weaker yeah but uh actually fuck Brawl.

I've noticed that the Big Bad Wolf won't kill my Abomination if it's detrimental to his board. Even if I'll lost mine as well. In Pic related, he doesn't attack into it over 5 turns, which was the only reason I won.

Is Tempo Mage just not able to compete in Wild?

I'm up to Rank 3 with around a 62% winrate, but I still feel like the class just runs out of gas too easily to the most prominent decks in that format. The number of times where I get stopped dead in my tracks just before my opponent hits fireball range and lose because I couldn't draw a single burn spell while the Paladin or Priest heals with abandon and floods the board with huge value creatures is staggering.

This takes place before Medivh dies and Karazhan turns into ghost evil tower.

They get farther removed from the source material as time goes on which isn't a bad thing I guess I don't get it's a shit card game.

Naxx and Blackrock were basically just the raids. Kel and Nef made shitty comments at you and some jokes but it was mostly just a card game for children version of those raids.

Then league was a mostly OC Indiana Jones adventure that was way more lighthearted.

Now we're full on just comedy parody. Yes Medivh had a weird party section but the opening to Kharazan here with disco balls and Medivh talking about karaoke is all you need to know about the tone from now on.

If they didn't do whispers of the Old Gods and we got like a AQ adventure you'd have shit like having to help the Twin Emps resolve a dispute over who is more handsome, dealing with the Qiraji nobility having a family fued, and then utlimately waking C'thun up from a bad dream he was having or something.

It's only so faithful in the sense that "this person existed in WoW this was his gimmick" and that's fine I guess.

Why is Imp Gang Boss good but Imp Master and Moroes are bad?

Imp Gang Boss has the worst token generating ability of the three, but 1 extra attack and the demon tag.

Imp Master is neutral, lacks the demon tag, and has 1 less attack, but generates consistent tokens, which the Imp Gang Boss doesn't. It also self-harms, which means that it can trigger minions like Armorsmith and Frothing Berserker.

Moroes is an Imp Master with 'potentially infinite' token generation but is weak to board clear and doesn't have the self-harm synergies.

I'm so annoyed. I've just been conceding whenever my teammate does something stupid like that. In fact, the guy I was playing with, the one who kept trying to increase the attack of his Validated Doomsayer, I conceded just before we were going to win.

We got Nefarian down to like 2 health. And if I had just ended my turn, he could had killed him with his own minions. Instead I emoted "Thanks" and then conceded because I hated that guy so much.

The real comparison needs to be between imp gang boss and imp master and I'll try to explain.

The one attack is super important to why imp master can work. Technically imp master is like a 2/5 for like one turn at which point it's a whatever/whatever depending on how many imps it shits out but ignoring the imp (because they're 1/1 that got summoned at the end of your turn and could die to anything) it's a 1/4 that can't trade into even a lot of one drops. Imp master's one extra attack allows it to trade off with a lot of things and still produce a 1/1 with the exact same constancy that imp master does. Beyond that the imp generation isn't worse it's just different. You have no control over getting imps from imp master if she dies she doesn't even trade into anything most of the time and every turn in a timer to her death for 1/1. You can do dumb shit like aoe clear or coil or whatever your imp master and decide when to generate more tokens for zooing things if you need to.

As said above it's stickier. You remove imp master at 4 health it's dead and did very little. You need to one shot the imp gang boss or you're looking at a minimum of 2 imps. Demon tag is also nice if only by a little and there's inherent combo with it even if you don't really use that.

It's not that moroes is "bad" it's that he exists in a meta dominated by a class that has a board clear for him on the same turn you'd play him and it's a board clear a warrior is perfectly fine with playing on curve with just a 1/1 on the board. If the only aoe clears were things like flamestrike he'd live a lot longer.

Because the token generation is only part of the reason why Imp Gang is good.
The 2/4 body is far better for trading because it can take out things like 3/2s and 2/2s effortlessly.
The ability activating on damage take also is much more of a disincentive against random damage from prominent aggro minions like Fiery Bat, Knife Juggler, Huge Toad, Flame Juggler and even finishers like C'Thun.

Imp Master's ability doesn't incite trading because of the way the 1/4 body damages itself at the end of each turn, essentially meaning the body is more like a 1/3 by the time it gets to trade. The 1 attack also can't really kill anything without an Imp helping to trade, which can die for free to either to random damage or hero powers.

Moroes is better than Imp Master but less flexible than Imp Gang due to the way Moroes can just die for free to an unlucky shot from random aggro damage
