His verticality was too much. Previously only dps heros could kill him, but Genji mobility was too much and he would just fuck off until he got the fight he wanted. Now dps can answer more properly and Winston/Diva can actually have a chance at fucking his shit up. He could buy the fights he wanted and avoid death, now he hopefully has a healthy risk of dying when going for poke damage to create a favorable engage.

Genji was actually a superior Tracer (and a broken hero), now they're both even, with one specializing in horizontal and the other in vertical. Tracers never bitched about only having a shitty ass 150 hp and a shitty ass cuck version of deflect and still gets work done, so in other words, git gud faggot.

He has the auto aim tesla cannon which can't be deflected, he can jump far to close the distance between a jumping/swift striking genji, barrier, and he's a tank so he can eat genji damage up.

The only hard counter to genji that could even be used in comp is easily countered himself by you guessed it another offense.

People crying that because an exploit (that blizzard did not) want has been removed.

Genji nerf thoughts

You can still double jump after a wallclimb if you only used one jump, which is fine
Here's my concern though. If you want to do a trick move like jumping off a ledge and then climbing back up, you have to be holding down the jump button the whole time because if you press jump again at a wall it'll waste your double jump without actually jumping. It'll take some getting used to, but it doesn't feel right.

Just played my first game this evening, got 2 parties of 2 that were flaming each other before the game even started. Then the first one picked genji and tracer, genji died instantly under their spawn, then switched to bastion, another one switched to mei and tried to wall the spawn.
