Finally found a way to produce quick desert backgrounds. Shaved the process down to 10-20 minutes for each. They're not spectacular but they do the job so I'm satisfied.

Yeah, of course. They were made to help visualize the exploration mechanic in my game, so they don't need to be refined at this stage.

The eventual backgrounds will look more like this, with and additional 15-20 mins work. I'm saving that for later because I'd rather have everything down first before refining.

So, we're hitting the inception of our project. During this stage I, the script writer, am trying to get together everything my artists need. As it is now I am either going to have 2 or 3 artists working on the project, with a friend of mine being a general art liaison to help me work out deadlines, as I am not great as knowing how long character art takes.

What I have done is make a wiki. The wiki had the following:

all vn openings are pretty much the same sideshow style stuff, even the JVN ones. for actually good ones i'd say lucid9 did a good job at actually presenting the plot, but that one has the benefit of being a mystery. i also like the one from harem protagonist.
