I consider myself casual (veteran, but not epicTArunner) and adrenaline isn't too scary. I do it blademaster, but I only use one weapon so I've got a pretty intimate knowledge of it. I think any weapon would do fine. you get a large def bonus which will protect you from being oneshot by any small or medium hits. so it just changes your playstyle a little biy, you just have to make totally sure you don't get hit by the big attacks, or hit twice in a row.

survival abilities lend themselves to this. I run adept this gen, and evade + in older gens

I forgot to mention, it will change your item loadout too. I never bring mega potions, but I always bring herbs, potions, bitterbugs and small b.bombs. I've got two marks scratched into my screen over my healthbar. one at max health adrenaline range (60hp) and one at base health adtenaline range (40hp). an herb heals 20 and potions 30, so its easy to eyeball how much health I need. and bitterbugs and sbbombs bring me down if I'm slightly above

I felt the same way until I switched to primarily Guild style and found myself enjoying the game much, much more.

So i was just in an online room when this Bow guy joined and he had an insane set that gave him Load Up/Focus/True Shot Up/Rapid Up

I know that he used the Akantor R head piece, Teostra Bow (2 slots) and 2 pieces of the Arc S gunner armor, i think it was feet and waist, not sure.
