soraka is a pure healing and that's always boring and in most games ends up either being a required pick or worthless, and theyre usually very annoying to play against to too

current soraka is a shitty design too because in lane she has no downtime on her heals and its easy for her to position well enough that she's out of reach. for example cait + soraka can position so fucking far ahead very few lanes have enough engage to get on them, and anyway if you don't kill them soraka is just going to heal her to full in seconds and then if she lands 1-2 Qs she's full as well

I personally always think nerfing the strong points of champs is bad idea. It's better for everyone if other points are nerfed instead so champ stays strong in the niche it is but more counter play is generated.
