The burden of knowledge is too much for what the game actually is. The weight system, the movement options, cryptic shit like "jump installs" (why not just add it in as a feature instead of forcing players to exploit the system if you aren't oging to remove it), the defensive options and roman cancels etc.
It's just not worth it. This game is more complicated than DotA 2 without the playerbase to justify it.

the game says "ok, you've done a jab and pressed jab+strong+ fierce. Well, fierce is the highest priority normal, but pressing fierce during jab active frames doesnt do anything, so we'll move to the next one down the list which is strong. There is a valid target combo for jab to strong so thats gonna activate instead"
