There's not a lot of need for money, just for upgrading your gear a couple of times, some books and maybe alcohol (if you want to use alchemy without having to loot everything). You should make enough with quests and if you need more you can sell some of the rarer alchemy ingredients. Exp will come naturally if you do quests, in fact so much so that you should be able to max out all the bronze and silver talents by the end.

Yeah, outside of actual quests a lot of them are just for the sex cards or some tidbits of info and not really necessary.

The crux of older games. Usually meditation should help make them appear, although I remember tracking down Zoltan in Vizima took me a while because he likes to wander around the city a lot.

My game is now pretty much a sandbox/roguelike in witcher world

That's the thing, hardcore fanbase is often the most critical one, and tends to became more and more critical as the game reaches mainstream and they somehow start to feel more entitled to CDPR's attention than the new fanbase. However, there is the inevitable reality that they are a business, making money is their priority and catering to the majority makes far more sense business wise. It happens to all the companies when they hit mainstream, CDPR is still far from EA or Ubisoft, but as they get more popular and it starts affecting their decisions, the old fanbase will start to feel more betrayed even though its often unjustified.

Most of us kept the expectations realistic, few were expecting Kovir expansion. Personally, I didn't even expected CDPR to do anything, it came as very pleasant surprise when they responded. Few companies would do that, even if they ignored us, the things would eventually die down and there wouldn't really be a backlash or anything that would tarnish their reputation. It was a very nice gesture from their part, they really grew on me by doing it. Not to mention they put resources in it and gave it for free.

Is there any downside to losing Blueboy Lugos' respect in exchange for cash money after Cave of Dreams? Meaning, does it actually change anything in game?
