As an Instinct walker, I'm sad to see botting die.

Botters are always an interesting subset of the community digging up info on game mechanics, bringing up interesting extremes in MMOs, and forcing devs to fix shit just because they exist. Though that doesn't justify them botting, PoGo was basically a single player game and unlike Ingress, I don't need to hold a gym for more than 10 seconds to collect my free coins so who cares? 3k CP Dragonites are annoying to remove from gyms but I get more grief trying to boost prestige in a gym full of shitty Snorlaxes and Clefables instead of removing them from an enemy gym. You guys bitch about botters stealing your gyms but I deal with that every day against Valor and Mystic faggots but I still have no problems collecting coins so you don't see me complaining.

Also PoGo bots are special because they gave me hope that it's actually possible to get 100% IVs and a completed Pokedex someday. I can sleep easy knowing that short of missing a legendary spawn event, I can sate my autism someday.

Now the only kinds of player interaction I have left are dealing with smug lv 26 Mystic faggots brag about how they're expert players who have more experience than me because they've been playing the game 3 weeks more than me who tell me they are such great Pokemon masters because they know what Pokevision is and how proud they are of their OP 2k CP Dragonites as I clean out the gym while they're talking.

Also I guess game discussion is going to peter out to just clueless people asking others to look up IVs and movesets for them instead of doing basic shit like that themselves and blogposts like mine since Niantic isn't going to fix gyms anytime soon, and the prospect of trading and gen 2 coming out are pretty laughable.

It's not the setup. It's the version.

You then have to edit the hex of the exe file so that it doesn't attempt to update.

Get 8.5, then find hex line 1570. Copy this into the start of that line: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00, then everything should work fine again.

Dragons, as of Gen 6, are only weak to Dragon, Fairy and Ice, while only taking half damage from Electric, Fire, Water and Grass. In the Gen 1 Pokedex there's only 3 Dragons (which are hard to find), 4 Ice Types (One being Very hard to find another being legendary, leaving the other 2 who both have crap stats) and 4 Fairy types (which I'm still debating their overall effectiveness).

Also keep in mind that most of the people playing probably didn't stick around long enough to learn about fairy type pokemon. So it's plausible that they won't even try using them or even dismissing them as being only normal type.

I've been using the pogo live map (mchristopher) to get the spawns, then for an hour watch every spawn, check its time remaining, work out when it actually spawned (every standard spawn is exactly 15 minutes), and note down the location and time using google 'my maps'

for the description on each pointer I included every minute during that period, so I can search for the current time (e.g. if its 12:39 I would just search '39') and choose 'highlight all matches from my map' and it highlights (the white circle) all places that pokemon are currently spawned at the time
I'm trying to figure out how to either change the highlight or have it only show the current ones but I havent figured it out yet

Uh. I can take down lvl 10 gyms with 2200-3000 CP mons just fine and all I have are a gorillion Arcanines, and some sub 2000 shit. If you dodge every special move, those numbers are really nothing special and any walker can get rid of a lvl 10 gym by himself in an hour or so whereas it takes ages for a group to get it that high.

You're not really steamrolling anyone unless you attack but even then, any lvl 25+ should be able to 6v4 your mons.

All my teammate gyms are filled with like 1300-1400 CP Snorlaxes and Clefables. It is infuriating as shit.

What's a good Pokemon to get that can actually win 1v1 vs these annoying fatasses? Sure I can use my 2k guys to boost prestige but it's 100 prestige per Snorlax and it takes fucking forever for one fight, let alone getting the gym from 18,000 to 20,000.

I need something that's lower in CP than these Snorlaxes and Clefables but still be able to win 1v1. What are my choices? And before somebody suggests low level Vaporeons, I am going to pre-empt you by saying I am at 6 Flareons now and no Vaporeons. I already used Rainer and said Vaporeon is one of the 2ks so that's out of the question.
