Is this a joke? It's easy to talk about how good Undertale is. It's /v/ that has trouble explaining why it's bad without using memes.

The game's combat system is a nice gimmick for people who don't normally play shmups, and the game is short enough with enough twists in the combat system that it doesn't get stale. Its dialogue relies on a desire for a game full of whimsy, using "lolsorandom" moments in a tasteful manner that builds the game's setting instead of being a bunch of one-off jokes. Despite being a silly game, its characters have a surprising amount of nuance compared to what you'd expect. The dev made sure that everything within the game world made logical sense by having everything happen within the span of an single day. Also, the music is fantastic, which makes sense since one of the sound guys from Homestuck worked on it.

Sleeping pills aren't a great way to go out. A lot of the time the damage can be mitigated by vomiting which is pretty easy to survive. If you really want to go out then look into making yourself an Exit Bag. I think a company in Canada sells them, but if they don't then it's pretty easy to make one. Exit Bags are great because your panic reflexes are suppressed and you simply drift off to sleep and then suffocate while unconscious. They also have a low fail rate, and even if it does fail there's a low chance of you actually having permanent damage unlike with sleeping pills.

My guess is that you've never been suicidal, so can't even begin to understand how a suicidal person thinks, so let me put it this way.
Why do you live? You live because you enjoy things, you have hobbies, things you like to do, people you care about, you enjoy certain food, the point is, you have the emotion of joy to motivate you onwards, you wake up, because you are rewarded for living. If nothing else you have video games to complete.
Once you're depressed you stop enjoying those things and so, you have no reward for living and just want to die because it's easier than torturing yourself by continuing to live.

Personally the breaking point for me was not being able to enjoy video games.

Actually at this point I think I go on living mostly because of sheer bloody-minded stubbornness, but I understand what you're saying.
The thing is though, assuming your depression isn't caused by a terminal illness or something, it's a fixable problem. There are medications you can take to help you, it doesn't have to be the end. It can get better, or at least less horrible, even if it doesn't seem like it.
