It removes the navigable parts from the lake near Kyoto and one of the pathways to tsushima, as well as enlarging others and fixing sharp turns. The purpose is to stop the AI, especially caravans, from getting stuck in these places. It fucks up prosperity.

It's save game compatible, just make sure there isn't anyone in the navigable places being erased or they will be stuck there forever.

Next update should introduce & expand industry & exploration, respectively.
But the gameplay is very similar. Assemble a band of people (starships+officers) and wander around on a 2d grid hunting bandits (pirates) while running from large enemy armies (fleets), maybe doing some trading on the side.

Well if they indeed change the time mechanic it wouldn't be that much of an issue, it is something that would require work,sure. But so does any other game that implements other features.

If time never stops or speed it would make the gameplay different? sure, but the pro is way better than the con. (not to mention some players might even enjoy it being more ''realistic'')

If this is ''unbearable'' they could make it that both players can decide when to speed or stop time. For example if one is checking the inventory and the otherone is at a battle, time in the world stops.

But if one is at a battle and the other is moving, time continues. I think 50% of the time players would want to play at similar speeds anyways.

I helped the d'shar for a bit and somehow their mercenary party gained 4000 troops
They destroyed the fierdsvain while I helped them and when I wasn't paying attention they almost completely wiped out the empire.

Ever since people have been defecting to them, boosting their numbers.
Most of their parties have 300+ units and they have like half the lords in the game under their command.

I could take a castle if I had the men, but I can't field an army without food and I can't buy food because every single city is hostile to me so I wont be able to sneak in with my army.
