It doesn't make it any better, the cannon still does one hit kills and if anything the added speed just makes it harder to aim with the cannon.

However, ulting bastion in his turret mode is pure death, just as effective as ulting a ulted 76. The increased fire rate turns him into bullet hell.

Let me tell you how to steam roll a payload push.

Not at all. Just having a feeling for a hero's mechanics is 90% of playing them. I'll go into QP and bootcamp a hero all day, regardless of our comp, because that's how you get better at playing a hero and even knowing how they fair in different comps and matchups.

What I was said is that someone who is trying to get good at a hero will play them regardless of team comp, because that is how you get good at a hero. It doesn't matter if it's picking Torb on attack or Torb on defense, if someone wants to be good at Torb, they'll do both. Picking a hero into every kind of comp and into every kind of matchup is how you learn the hero's strengths and weaknesses in those conditions.

For some people Comp is too much pressure and that's why they play QP. That should tell you how much numbers in a videogame matter to people.

QP, however, doesn't have that pressure. Because it's made for training, or stress-free playing. I always try my best when playing and always play to win, but raging at people who come to QP to warm-up or relax after comp is silly. Good Mercy players excelled at the game by proper movement and positioning. There isn't anything wrong with revive as it's a great counterplay ability that Blizzard agreed needed to charge very quickly, unfortunately they went full retard.

In the beta her ult charged slowly and her gameplan was basically to charge it then wait in the spawn to use it, seriously. With a fast charging ult it became a hybrid ability that you could not just use as an ultimate to do big team revives but also as something you could use now and then in smart ways to revive solo players, it gained immense value based on the gamesense level of the Mercy player.

Right now though she needs a huge buff, more healing, a panic button E ability, and a full rework of her damage boost because it's completely useless.

Playing Mercy well is fun as shit

Guardian Angel is my favorite ability in the game. A good Mercy is constantly zipping back and forth across wherever her team is to deliver constant heals and boost someone where it's needed. If you know what you're doing, you're everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Maybe give her some kind of self-heal on the E button with a long cooldown, so she has a panic button to get out of sticky situations, or a slight increase to the boost percentage

Nah, the short range it has now is fine, the only real issue is that as Mercy you will pretty much always die after using it and that isn't fun.

Considering how many "lel killeveryone" combos and ults exist in the game it's vital that more counters to them exist. Zen's ult is really nice at preventing deaths and revive especially meant that even if you lost a few members early in a fight you didn't instantly lose the point, you always had a second chance. Really she needs better tools to work with so that her entire kit isn't her ult.

What are the chances of Lucio/Mercy getting an overhaul on their gameplay?

Like, I want to be able to play those 2, just to be able to support. But I'm not only a Roadhog main, I also play Reaper/Genji on the side. Which means that I don't know how not to be aggressive as fuck.

I did. Can you even articulate why you said that? Playing to win and playing competitively are the same thing, by definition. If you want to play to win, meaning you are focused on winning and think other people on your team should also be focused on winning, then you should play in the mode specifically designated for playing in that manner.
