I think one of the biggest problems is guild leadership being locked to the templar, honestly the second a templar gets bored the guild is dead and not many people are willing to roll a templar just to so they can substitute the current leader. They're more likely to start their new shit guild with 4 or 5 members and end up as dead as the original.

Couple of questions for Hunters/Fwee:

1) Was watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QnxNUdCP74 and at around 1:20 is looks like he's using Retrieve and Retrieve is hitting 2 targets. Is this normal, is Retrieve normally AoE? If Retrieve normally is AoE, what happens when you use Circling with it? Does it work with AoE attack ratio on gear?

2a) Is Rush Dog a multihit skill or just 1 damage packet split up in smaller numbers (aka, if i Rush Dog an object, does the pet do 1 dmg)? What happens if I Rush Dog and Circling? Is Rush Dog affected by AoE attack ratio on gear?

2b) If Rush Dog isn't multihit, doesn't that make the skill not worth putting more than 1 point in since you'd need to invest billions in pet training to make Rush Dog do decent damage?

3) Is more than 1 point in Growling needed?

4) I read that Snatching has an AoE component to it, is it affected by Circling/AoE attack ratio on gear?

5) Does the hawk need to be leveled like a normal companion (aka does it start at lvl 1)?

6) Does the hawk take a character slot?

Retreieve is single target only. I haven't been able to reproduce what happened in the vid.

Rushdog is NOT a multihit. It's a fake multihit, with a multiplier. IT IS NOT A MULTIHIT.
You can leave rushdog at 1 or drop your remaining points into it. The good thing about rushdog is the skill damage goes through defense. It's good in pvp, and the only hunter damage skill you can use on ground bosses.

Growling can be resisted, personally I prefer 3 points at least. If the pet dies growling will cancel, and this will happen alot if you try to use growling in the middle of magic casting mobs, like in the 200 dungeon, so having it at 5 helps it last longer when the pet does die.

Snatching and rushdog apparently have a fixed aoe ratio of 5 and isn't affected by circling or aoe attack ratio gear but that's only what I read, I never tested it.

Yes hawk starts out at lvl1 but it doesn't matter anyways since the skills are based off character stats, don't know if the pet adds add on to skills or not and yes it takes a character slot.

I REPEAT RUSHDOG IS NOT A MULTIHIT, IT'S A FAKE MULTIHIT LIKE CATA'S EARTHQUAKE.

of ALL the bad decisions they took regarding class design and pvp combat, Dark Theurge is actually the worst.

I've never see a game where the frail ( forget the 200k hp full con build) wizard can decimate every single warrior class (bar rodelero) in the game with by going melee with him.

yes, in this game, swordsmans are forced to RUN from the wizards because of the spooky balls of death

Also, DT has almost no downtime and the only counter you have is slithering and baiting the warlock into a jolly roger flag. ie: you need to force the wizard to rush into you because you can rush the guy to use your knockback (kinda counters DT but you'll lost the trade 90% o the time).

Also, DT protects the wizards from a lot of shit, you can hook the spirits and the wizard walks freely!
Currently, the only true counter to DT hug of death is Ausrine and Mackangdal.
-50% nerf was not enough, try to face a rich wiz 3 warlock that has DT attribute lv 80+ and bang, 30k damage ina a 0,5 sec window
