I'm really surprised at how many of these repeatable quests they added at low level. They're all really simple, interact with spawned thing 9 times or kill 10 mobs, but there are a lot of them and the cards they spit out really add up. Also, spawns are WAY thicker. I think the patch said 30% but it feels closer to 50%. Quests that used to take forever are really quick now.

Why is swordsman like this? Pelt and Hop should be combined, Rode given most of Pelt's excess shield things. Cata is fine but redundant with Lancer. Dragoon is unnecessary and could be distributed among Hop, Cata, and Lancer, and should have just been Lancer to begin with.

I mean I get there is only so many ways you can hit with a sword and block with a shield, but if they're already moving to spears, why not give barbs axes? Have them swinging them around and spinning with axes in both hands. Add a Berserker class too for another class that's not limited by specific weapons, similar to Barb. They should revisit that whole tree.

Unless bullshit like Fletchers or 280 Temple Shooters are at play, I usually don't. I still need to improve a lot, and even when they do fix stuff I am still going to be weak agaisnt slave-calling classes. But regarding damage and debuffs, I am not losing to any other Swordsman class.

The reason you don't see Rodeleros in TBL is because don't make them at all. When you do see one, it's either a low level guy, or a full CON Pelt3Rodel3 that can't even hit people because he lacks Accuracy.

Pelt is a "tank", while Rodel is a debuffer. Hop is a 1h spear wielder, while Cata, Dragoon ,and Lancer are each a different taste of mounted lancer classes. Highlander and Barbarian are both 2h wielding classes, whose most skills can be used with any weapon, which are meant to be picked as the bread-and-butter damage for later classes. Not only that, but that there are enough bots to shut down dungeons with even this few amount of players. How the fuck can like 2k worth of players close dungeons? Also it fucks up everything, item dungeons, for instance, and anything else using the server they use for instances. It's probably the team and guild battles fucking up everything along with people running the dungeons.

But with like 5k players at a time, maybe 2k of them bots and maybe another 1k soloing just the 130 dungeon, how the fuck should that shut down every instance for everyone for hours? Even if people took the full hour dungeons have, that's 3 hours, if even only 1k could go in at a time that's only 9 hours, not all day. Some shit is broken and instances aren't being ended properly or something. And this is being generous with the amount of current players even with 130 level characters, much less characters high enough to solo it. Rode should be the "tank", since it's the fucking shield class. Why is Pelt "shield class jr."? Pelts should be the one with Hop's 1h spear wielding and throwing if anything.

Pelt is the tank, get over it. Even if they don't work as intended, the skills make it very clear. Rodelero is the shield warrior, not a tank. Nothing in their kit reduces damage or draws aggro.

Barbarian is a 2h class, but because they're meant to become filler skills as you progress, they didn't weapon-lock them. The techniques can be used with any weapon.

How to fix pelt.
Pelt gains an attribute at c2 that heals you from the hp gained from the swash attribute.
Attack reduction removed from high guard and guardian. Crit rate decrease can be kept, nobody really cares.
Guardian now also increase magic defence.
High guard can be kept forever at higher levels and adds 20-30 additional block per skill points.

Here, the class actually offer you good survivability at the expense of mediocre damag and doesn't butcher your build with nonsensical damage reductions.

Rodelero will probably be decent enough with murmillo thanks to the strike debuffs.

I'm talking about in terms of actual functions. Why give them themes but not actually stick to any of them? Sword tree is such bullshit. Pelt should be status affecting, spearing, and drawing aggro, because that's what Pelts do. You should have to take Rode to be a tank. Barb is not a 2h class, why do you even think so? Just because they can equip them?

Also Rodes can use the press C block and also slithering, so they do have damage prevention, but their existence is as dumb as Dragoons being yet another spear class.

Like I said, they need to rework Swordsman classes.

In its current state, Peltasta is an aggrobot, not a tank. Guardian gives a fucking flat increase to defense, and Highguard gives something like 150 flat block at the cost of 50% physical attack in a game with a billion different ways to raise your block over a billion.
The only things from the Peltasta tree that increase survivality are found in their attributes, not skills. Circle 1 attributes, at that.
So no, until they fix guardian and make Highguard not retarded Pelt is not a ''tanking'' class.

Barbarian is only a 2H class thematically, since they get picked for Fencer all the time and most people by now use their skills with an Arde since that's better damage until 200something where 2H swords finally start being better for damage. It's completely stupid, if you ask me.

No reliable method of reapplying the stun from Restrain, Pommel Beat is garbage even if it did triple damage, and the Concentrate buff is wasted because it's damage added at the end of hits, while Rodelero skills are all single hits that benefit from raw atk, not bonus damage.

No, constructors torch and lamp events have been in this game since release and are an insanely fast method of leveling at the 70-80s, its much faster than questing on your alts.

If you want to skip evac, just go do some kill counts and map explorations as well as some quests. Ive never had to grind at all (unless kill counts are counted as grinding) and I've got enough cards to 279.

Hello, this is tree of savior development team.
The original schedule for rank 8 classes that was originally for the 8/11 patch has been delayed by 1-2 weeks.

First before discussing the reason for this we would like to apologise.

The reason for this is, whilst we know how much the players want r8, we need to delay up to 2 weeks to ensure that when we finally release r8, it will be working and in doing so ensure the game is enjoyable for people. The main reason we have made this decision is due to the high expectations of our players about r8 which we do not wish to disappoint.

Once again we apologise for the delay as we try and make the game as enjoyable as possible.

Highest level with the r8 patch will be 330 as well as a team level of 100.
