I wish necreapers got more out of fear

It's such a borderline useless aspect of the class, only coming from one shit wall skill with an obscenely long cooldown that has no use outside of EotM, one shroud skill that is either an afterthought to stability for reaper or our only cc on base necro, and one shit long cooldown weapon skill on what is the most poorly designed weapon for the entire class.

I feel like they wanted necros to be able to do stuff with fear but then were too lazy to balance it and gave up halfway and left it as shit.

gw2 is so casual it hurts, absolutely no punishment for dying, armor repairs is not even a slap on the wrist because you can just another armor ob

gw1 conpared to it is nightmare mode, wiping in open world caused stacking death penalties to your health until you capped at 60%, if you wiped on a mission you restart the entire thing from the start, if your monk/rit was dead and no one had hard rez you were done

on top of all that you still had a hard mode to do, not only was there tp back to town at 60% dp but mobs were tougher, had more skills, and had more advanced manuevers and techniques to deal with you

It being casual isnt the problem. It's the fact that it has zero idea what the fuck it wants to be. If it was ACTUALLY casual, there wouldn't be all this needless fucking grind to appeal to raiding autists who have ruined all other mmos.

What it currently is, a giant fucking mismanagement mess. A story a toddler would scoff at, an extremely small wardrobe, mechanics that a vegetable could master in a day, needless grinds that provide nothing but more shitty skins (oh but only a select few skins, we can't be adding too many skins to overwhelm the player), huge droughts in content, adding in subclasses in the worst possible way in mmo history, and STILL NO CANTHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

There's either the /vg/ guilds in the OP or you can ask for a guild in a major city in mapchat, I'd recommend Lion's Arch, and you can find yourself in a "mega guild", that's where people post guild recruitment.

What do people think of this build? I just threw it together now. Auto attack on the heavy golems hits for on average around 2k. If I switched to zerker ammy the average hit goes up to 3k - 3.5k but the healthpool drops from almost 30k to 15k.

s/s antics is fun if you can land it, but shield has good basic utility.

I personally prefer demo to Marauder. Vit is better for 1v1 me feggit but the toughness i find is better when fighting more than 1 person.

I also personally prefer staff over hammer for the 3&5 with sigil of leeching/hydro or blood. It allows for enough survivability when i need it then drop into shiro/sword for big dick damage

I've returned playing for 3 weeks now, after I bought HoT 50%OFF, but i'm just logging in, doing daily for the 2g and logging out.

I've played for a somewhat long time, have 2 full ascended geared chars and shit. My favorite activity was dungeoning, but right now the rewards suck so I'm not doing it anymore.
Fractals were too fucking long and boring when I quit. I heard they got more bearable and better rewarding right now.
Never played raids, and won't be getting into it - or fracs - for quite some time, because I don't have any elite specs and metabattle says I have to.
