Niantic goes in the complete opposite direction and tells you exactly where a Pokemon with no possibility to overlook it. Why are they doing this? The three step system was damn near perfect. Finally getting a Pokemon to 0 steps and knowing its going to appear any second was exciting a f. Now it will just show you exactly what building or landmark they're outside of with zero possibly for error.

It's one spawn per 5 minutes while idle.

Every 200m of moving will trigger a separate extra spawn in 1 minute or something.

Basically, sitting around's the best because
(a) the GPS is probably going to be spotty enough to not count you running 200m a meter anyway
(b) You need to be running 12km/h non-stop to maximise spawns.

Also I have no idea if stacking lure modules on stops actually increases Pokemon spawns so you might have to verify whether or not they actually do from somewhere else.

Everyone will leave this game within the next few months. It has a very limited life span since it was a half-assed release that was incomplete on features promised and not tested enough.

There's no reason to ban the botters and spoofers since Niantic already made their money, they're not going to make too much more off of it at this point. It's already time for them to be thinking about the next game.

It uses up a lot sure but it doesn't seem to use THAT much. And I basically only ever use my phone for PoGo and phone calls and leave PoGo on and active all day so I don't think you can get higher than this from half a month of usage. And no, I don't use wifi because my phone just keeps dc'ing and reconnecting non-stop so I basically can't do shit unless I'm on the mobile network 24/7 so this is all the usage that PoGo used in almost 3 weeks of almost 24/7 usage.

Still uses up a fuckton. I'm on T-Mo's cheapest plan with 2GB of data and I'm glad I don't use my phone for anything else. I don't know about other poorfags who'd use their phones for YouTube and web browsing and other shit but PoGo uses a damn lot compared to my other shit and I'm glad it's not sharing the usage quota with any other apps.

Here's a more explained version for maximizing your exp.
Save your your evolutions till you have 70+ ready without transfering for candies, then crack a lucky egg and evolve everything. You can only get 70-80ish evos per lucky egg.
Use the extra incubators on 5k an 10k eggs only, they are wasted on 2k eggs.
If you aren't super interested in filling out the pokedex and you have trouble having enough pokeballs in your inventory, only catch pokes that need 12 or 25 candies to evolve.
For pokemon that have 2 evolution stages, you get the same amount of exp so just do the cheaper on and evolve more

This is why people spoof and bot, the game was still in alpha when released. They needed to release a finished product, not the demo.

Fine, look... I like it a lot, I like to exercise, so it's a plus to look for on the way to the good spots in the city. I get to see a good friend a lot, I nerd out, and usually there's a lot of pretty chicks walking around these spots because they're popular, in spite of PoGo, I've also made a couple of acquaintances, one of whom I spoke about the technical terms of the game, the other one didn't play, so we spoke about other interesting topics.

You also get a thrill about the whole catching thing, and you have to check for IVs manually, which is neat if you're into messing with calculators, and you like arranging videogame items neatly. I think the negative aspect is the farming, since I got rid of a lot of mons I could evolve for exp points, but that's ok, I'm getting a bit better.

How accurate is the Necrobot IV calculator?
Necrobot says I have a 96% IV pokemon but Pokeassistant says that pokemon can have a potential maximum IV of 100% out of 6 combinations

If you do care about IVs, then any time you want.

If you don't give a shit about IVs, or you didn't find any 100% IVs Pokemon yet, then lv 30+ because wild Pokemon are capped at up to lv 30 when found so you have to only grind from lv 30.5 to lv 41.5 after catching them.

It doesn't really matter since you'll be farming Pidgeys for the rest of your days anyway.

Spoofing is the faking if gps location data. Everything involves it, but used on its own as a term, it implies that you're referring to someone running an android emulator and the actual Pogo apk, and the only thing they're actually doing is faking their gps and seemingly running the app normally. Botting is an automated command line interface thing, where it only simulates the basics of the app and wanders around spinning pokestops and catching pokemon. You can snipe in Necrobot too. Necrobot runs reasonably well.

Sniping is this odd thing where if you know where a pokemon has spawned, you can sort of teleport there only to catch the pokemon, while somehow not actually moving your gps. It can be done in its own client or in a bot, but with less manual control.
Supposedly Sniping gave you softbans recently, but that was only the Pokesniper 2 client.
Use the PogoLocationFeeder CLI client. Gui is for walkers.


You will occasionally find your client, usually Necrobot or Pokesniper2's autosniper, is trying to snipe legendaries. This is a joke and any possible meaning that people have attributed to it was based on their uninformed use of the GUI Feeder, which displays far less information.
These coordinates usually originate from the Necrobot Discord channel, and those are very fallible, and filled with wanna-be jokesters and retards. Unless you see proof that someone actually caught or encountered a legendary, it is not real. The generals need to stop spreading misinformation.

You should bot your account to a decent level first of all. When you start getting decent mons and items, you can think of more specific things.
Most bots can snipe too. There are chat rooms where people broadcast coordinates of good (but mostly shit) pokemon, and software that can grab those coordinates and feed them to your bot. It's a little bit hacky and doesn't work half the time, but it's something.
