Fuck you i meant the on foot race between sonic, shadow, metal sonic and amy. All were equally as fast on foot in battlemode. Not to mention rouge and knuckles run really fast, and tails can fly outside of his mech fast enough to keep up with sonic. Eggman is fat and has to use mechs and eggcraft to get around, but you better believe he could create a hovercraft capable of matching sonic speed. Its a shitty excuse desu

But Transformed was made by Sumo Digital, and more love was put into that than a lot of recent Sonic games.

Hey thanks! I don't draw much from satam these days, working on some portfolio stuff and spent the past few days and next week colouring someone's pages for the archie online gang but I try and doodle every now and then, have an old one not sonic related new season when? but drawing from cartoons is a really good exercise. If you can pause it during a really expressive frame you can get nice reference to work from. I used to do stuff from animaniacs which gave great faces.

Once I finish up these pages I'm working on my archie submission though. ABT has been kind enough to offer to take a look at my sequentials when I finish them so I'll hopefully be able to produce something worth showing the archie gang. But I'm gonna do work from cartoons inbetween. I might continue the satam studies or do some aosth ones. The TMS aosth episodes had some great keyframes.

Yeah I think I do okay with expressions, but there's so much to work on, from anatomy and staying on model, to conveying action, and page layouts. It's a lot to tackle, but it really is all just problem solving which helps when you've got a script to work off.

The archie online guys I've dealt with are all personable and easy to get on with. What's happening at the minute is that they're auditioning for a head writer to sort of be responsible for the general direction of things, so while that's being sorted out not a lot of new work is being handed out. People are sorting out writing submissions and whatnot. But a lot is being worked on behind the scenes, like the story I'm colouring for example. It might be a little slow at the minute, but once they have their staffing hierarchy in order I imagine it'll pick up. They're a lot quicker to respond to my submissions than the Fleetway Online gang! I subbed to both to see if I could help out at either group.

Man I love Cluck. Not as cool as Wily's Reggae though.

I'm a brit, so my first outreach into an online fan continuation had to be my boys back on the island. But actually /sthg/ nudged me into submitting to archie online so I figured why not? I actually showed them the pages I did for fleetway as my submission and they liked it! I'd prefer to be drawing than colouring since I'm pitching myself as a penciller to archie and I think my colouring is super weak, but hey, anything I can do to help out, y'know? sidenote: super jealous of the guys that got to go to SoS. I once got an unsolicted comment on my work from Nigel Dobbyn (about how he liked a page of something not sonic I did) on an old artist forum though, which was beyond incredible. But I totally wanted to go to SoS. I'm still considering fighting the hordes on ebay to get a 25th coin.

And yeah I'm pretty into the franchise. Picked up two portable HDDs the other day to backup my important stuff, and one is red the other blue. So i labelled them True Blue and Rad Red. I'm pretty much beyond hope I think.

It is implied that Dr Gerald based Shadow on the hedgehog that shows on that ancient mural from sonic 3 & knuckles wich is also implied to be super sonic. Therefore shadow is a "fake" (artifical-made) hedgehog. in Sonic adventure 2 sonic calls shadow a faker because autorities were after him after mistakingly believing sonic had stolen the emeralds because they both looked kinda similar. The thief turned out to be shadow all along, but then again shadow accused sonic of being a fake compared to him, the self proclaimed "ultimate life form". Sadly for shadow he would find out that he was the fake all along in the end.
