Seems like this group of updates will have four parts but I'm not really sure what the timing on this is going to be

Tomorrow is when the first part drops, then it's "mid-August" for part 2, "late August" for part 3, and "early September" for part 4, which should mean at least one short single week wait (rather than the usual two or occasional three) is going to be in there somewhere.

8/17 seems like a good day for part 2, which contains the actual Vegas free field update (part 1 will only feature it in the story), but it was previewed with an AC Scratch update ("King of Monster") in the last live broadcast and the next one of those isn't scheduled until the 24th. They could still shuffle it around separately.

If it ends up being two weeks after tomorrow, the only way to get something in "late August" too for the third movie would have to be something on 8/31

So it's probably either August 10th, 17th, and 24th; or 10th, 24th, and 31st. I guess we could be looking at 10th, 17th, and 31st here too but that means a scratch and some other things ending on an off-update week or an extension. There's also the possibility of something completely off the rails (non-Wednesday) but we'll see

Next broadcast is this weekend and we should at least find out what's in parts 3 and 4 then and probably get a roadmap for the rest of the year

Nearly all this game is fucked due to skill tree design and the SP system. You can thank that for why we're ridiculously strong AND can't have an increased level cap.

The game stays active because a lot of JPs don't just play for "muh content" and gearing up, they buy scratches and takes photoshoots, hang out, make authentic nippon memes etc. Just go to twitter and you'll see there is more user creativity with the game as a basis than people playing "seriously". Because of this SEGA found a reasonable pace to suit the users with collect files and gated EQs.

Legion in WOW is looking fantastic. Catering hard to grinders and no life autists like us. Games entire design philosophy seems to be about having a fuckload of content to infinitely grind with infinite scaling enemies(mythic+ dungeons) and RNG loot drops that gives you higher ilvl of loot the higher your average ilvl is.

So if you're a no life poopsocking grinding autist like us you're constantly rewarded with higher ilvl loot and always stronger than casuals who play 2 hours a week, unlike FF14.

FF14 is fucking ass and anyone who likes it should consider branching out and trying other games, because their opinion is obviously fucked beyond belief.

I quit the game during early Mists but I have to admit that Legion looks very promising. "Look" being the keyword.
The game has let down its playerbase too many times now. Cataclysm was a disaster and Mists wasn't as bad but still not too great either. As Warlords...well, the game lost 50% of its subs within 3 months. I guess that speaks for itself.

I fear the changes for Legion are simply too late. I doubt I could bring myself to enjoy the game anymore, besides I'd rather go play on a WotLK private server than retail.

No FF14 is literally a bad MMO.
Your gear is locked behind time gates, you can play "every class on a single character" but you'll NEVER gear more than 1 class at a time.

Every 6 months they invalidate everything you spend time earning with a new raid tier and anything not that current tier is irrelevant and not worth doing.

They only add 4 bosses every 6 months for raiding.

Gear is literally ilvl > all. No fun or interesting stats at all, just main stat + boring secondaries and you always equip whatever has highest ilvl.

They add "catch up" patches every 3 months that makes raiding a complete waste of time because shit players/casuals eventually get the same quality of gear you got by being a hardcore raider with 1/10000th the effort and time required.

Every content patch follows the same formula:
>new raid tier with 4 raid bosses
>new primal
>new linear as fuck piss easy dungeons
>new tomes
Then next patch is:
>24 man that's piss easy
>catch up gear
>some new form of "Content" that's piss easy and boring and rewards nothing
>new fate grind relic

Too much fluff content, gear is invalidated waaay too fucking fast, copy/paste patch cycles, boring linear dungeons, boring gear, 99% of the game is piss easy.

The game is BAD.

Is it just me or is the sell menu bugged? If I move my mouse over something, it immediately selects all available units of said item to sell.
Selling individual items is extremely difficult, if you try to deselect the items, they immediately revert back.
