Also, depending on the weapon, even if it's powerful it might not be worth using. Kusanagi and Izayoi both had significant drawbacks. Izayoi in particular was even worse than Tsubaki's Izayoi.

No, Kuon's Izayoi was a sure kill, Sechs literally couldn't bullshit his way out of it, it sealed him instantly but despite the sure kill, Kuon's a goner in that ending if you let her use it. No. Currently, I'd say that'd be Amane and Izanami. Izanami is currently entirely unkillable. The only reason she loses is due to some unknown arbitrary condition. Even though she's clearly capable of continuing the fight in most endings, the Azure fragment appears for opponent anyway, signalling their "victory".

Even the Nox Nyctores aren't equal. Some are clearly more broken than others when compared as weapons. Take-Mikazuchi is clearly far, far more powerful a weapon than Rettenjou or Ookami. Nirvana was never meant to be used the way Carl's been using her. She's not that powerful a weapon, and she's already vastly outclassed by Ignis and Minerva. The only real reason Minerva's so good is because any battle against her user is basically a 1vs2 fight, unless the opponent has backup. She's not that powerful. Noel is the true Successor of the Azure, though. Or at least the only known one that's currently active. Es received the Azure Eyes when she inherited the Embryo, but she was never a Successor. The Successor is an Observer whose sight supercedes all other Observers. What she acknowledges is absolute.

That's probably why the game's world is the "main" one, and the rest were merely "possibilities" that have currently been cut off. The reason Naoto survived and continues to exist is due to Raquel's intervention, as she herself is an Embryo of another world. Es probably exists for similar reasons, being a former inheritor of the Embryo and possesser of the Azure Eyes.

It's really not that hard to follow. Everything is pretty much explained in the games themselves. CF is hard to actually talk about because the only difficult thing about the story is that it's hard to summarize all of it at once. That's to hinder her ability. The Eye of the Azure is Noel herself. It's harder to observe what you can't see. Being the Eye gives Noel three powers: access to the true Azure without the use of a conduit like the Azure Grimoire, the ability to summon the Master Unit, and the ability to observe any and all phenomena. If Noel fully mastered her power as an Observer, gouging out her eyes would do nothing, as she could just observe herself as having her eyes intact.
