Sorry, non that I know off that's up to date. For the better or worse, the game changes so fast that most stuff that's more than a few months old are outdated.

The DLCs are just extra quests for you to do. The zones that you gain access to also have locations that allow you to craft gear that you couldn't otherwise craft, but you could always just buy that gear from a guild trader or hire a crafter to make the gear for you.

The Orsinium DLC gives you a new zone to fuck around in, a new arena to fight through, and a metric fuck ton of story quests. That's it.

The Thievs guild DLC gives you a new zone, story quests, skill line (It's all passives that help you not get ass raped by guards when stealing shit) and little once-a-day solo instances where you have to stealth through enemies and steal shit while a timer runs down.

Dark Brotherhood is basiclly the same as the thieves Guild DLC. It even gives you the same once-a-day instances, but in DB it's all about going in, killing your target, and then making it out in time. The DB skill line is also just passive stuff. It mostly just lowers how much you pay if you get caught killing an NPC.

Depends on how you play. Me and a friend play together. He have zero interest in crafting or playing the economical game, he just enjoys the dungeon and PvP. I enjoy PvE and PvP but are spending more and more time playing it as a Jew Simulator 2016. As long as he gives me the crafting materials I'll craft for him, and in exchange he throws me new motifs. He have zero need for membership while I really need the crafting bag.

For example, you can go breton/high elf and do about 1K more damage if you stick to JUST Magicka DPS, but an Orc Sorc will probably be about equal to you even without the racial buffs.

The devs care in so far that enough bitching will promote change and that the game over the year have turned from mediocre to great. However the changes are usually two steps forward and one back. Two updates ago, stamina users (people focusing on using swords and bows and so on) got a much needed boost and wards got nerfed but now we've retarded gap closers. Last update they revised a lot of outdated sets and reintroduced them from being low level gear to be available at top level, but had one gear bugging out giving your average damage-dealer 4 times their intended dps.

For Magicka DPS, it's HUGE argument which of these two are better. Just pick which one you like. Same goes for healer.

For Stamina DPS. Pick One. Imperial is slightly more tanky than the others.

Nord has a passive that just completely negates 6% of any damage you take, Imperial heals 10% of missing health through an RNG chance on hit, and Orcs are fucking monsters.

Pick the one you trust to stay alive more often. All three make awesome tanks.

I bought 5500 crowns because sale, but then I started browsing the crown store and realised there's nothing there that I want.

Will Mind-Shriven Horse ever be back on the crown store, because I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

What you're mostly losing is Stamina Regeneration. Just use your champ points to make up for it.

So I'm a bit new to the game have a few questions.

Firstly, how important are racial passives exactly? I'd like to make a stamina dps character and i'm torn between picking imperial or nord. I've haerd that imperials are great for the role but honestly i'd prefer to play as a nord, I just like the race a lot. Do racial passives make that drastic of a difference or are they really only worth thinking about for min/maxers?

Aditionally, I have a question about attributes. As I said i'd like to do more of a stamina-based build, so should I just dump most of my attribute points into stam with the occasional few in health and maybe magika? I'm a bit lost as to weather most people focus on a single stat depending on the role they want to play or if a more balenced distibution of stats between two or all three stats is usually prefered.

Sorry for the long post and all, but as I said i'm fairly new to this game and mmos in general and would prefer to not put a few dozen hours into a charater, only to regret having done so and start all over.

Classes mean nothing in this game. It's more like a flavor for your character.

Sorcerers deal with Lightning and are more mage-like, but that rule with a Two Handed weapon and some heavy armor if that's what you're into.

Sure, you can set them up in robes and use a staff and just go on your merry, mage-y way.

But... why do that when you can have a warhammer that shoots lightning while morphing your body into a giant AoE thunder storm?

You're probably going to want to play a Templar. They deal with fire and light based stuff. Grab a shield and a sword and go to town with your holy spear abilities.

Passives don't matter that much unless you're minmaxing for trials or tryharding at PvP. Additionally, the difference between the Nord and the Imperial passives is minimal regarding your stamina. I'd say you can safely roll a Nord.

As for attributes, when you're leveling you should either dump all your points into stamina or magicka, depending on what skills you're using. At max level you'll need to invest a few points into health so you won't die instantly to every stray AoE effect in dungeons. You should never put points into magicka and stamina at the same time. (unless you're doing some kind of crazy hybrid build)

Here's what the shield looks like when it's fully upgraded. (Legendary) Keep in mind, you can actually dye shields. So these are just the default colors.

Why you can sye armor and shields (But not the other weapons) is beyond my feeble little Nord mind, but I guess ZOS knows best. Wouldn't want anyone running around with any pink swords or axes now, would we?

For Magicka based DPS, You'd put all 64 points into Magicka. Spell Damage scales up based on your character's max Magicka pool.

For Stamina DPS, all 64 points go into stamina. Weapon and Physical damage scales up based on your characters max stamina pool.

For tanking, I'd still put all 64 points into whatever type of tank you want to be. (Yes, Magicka Tanks are a thing)

Reason being, points into health only give you around 120 more HP, while points into your resources give you over 1K more of that resource. I'd just put the Infused Trait on your Helm, legs, chest, and shield and enchant those with a health glyph. That should give you around 25K HP, and that's more than enough.

For the purpose of farming AP, it doesn't matter which morph you have.

Mutagen is the morph you want if you play as the main healer in dungeons. If you're being a off-healer as dps then Rapid Regen would be better because you can't stack two Mutagen or two Rapid Regen but you can stack one of each (plus the unmorhed skill too). Since the main healer almost always uses Mutagen then you would be able to assist by stacking Rapid Regen on top of that.

There's so much wrong with this statement I'm not sure where to begin.

Extra health can and should be acquired trough enchantments on your armour. This way you'll be able to switch between dps and dd gear on the fly, and there's several bosses where the tank is expected to go dd, such as Planar Inhibitor, Engine Guardian and the first boss in Cradle of Shadows comes to mind.

And unless you're a tank (who still don't need to put a single point into health) you've no business being in an AoE to begin with; and if it's literary unavoidable damage such as when falling from the sky against Lord Warden Dusk you can always just block on your way down.

But let's say you do invest in health because you're afraid of AoE, then you're still fucked since a lot of the AoE in veteran dungeons do like 60k damage, something you won't survive even if you spent all 64 points into health on an Argonian with legendary gear.

Couldn't agree more. The effect of this was that the amount of decent builds dropped like a rock since the distance between the effectiveness between a hybrid and pure build skyrocketed when it came to dps or healing. This in turn turned stamina to shit since all class abilities was magicka and stamina users were locked into only using weapon abilities. Something that down the road meant that class abilities had to get stamina morphs to somehow salvage the butchered diversity.

And sets like Pelinal's Aptitude that could be really bloody great are useless as of now. It's like they forgot that your abilities are affected by the pool size.

Removing the pool size having an effect on the strengths of abilities (since you would already be punished by not being able to spam said ability if it's small) would solve so much it's not even funny.

Currently the world is zone scaled and you are restricted to your faction's zones until vet level.
This fall they are releasing One Tamriel which removes the restrictions on alliance zones and zone scaling so you will be able to go straight from the tutorial dungeon to anywhere on the map. Relative to what?
Everything is just gonna die as fast as the devs decide is balanced.
Enemies are balanced around any new abilities you'll be getting as you level so there's no way to kill things faster.
From what I'm seeing the ONLY way to actually gain power outside of the dev's expected balance while leveling would be to get gear of a higher quality than expected at your level, which is just boring.

This is why I scoff when people claim raising the level cap is "progression" since the mobs scale with you you don't gain any power relatively. The real progression is leveling where mobs don't scale with you anymore (IE past CP 160), and better gear.

You can join 5 guilds per account, and they're shared across all characters. You can do dungeons etc. with different factions, but won't be able to interact with them in overworld PVE due to level differences. Also in PVP you're obviously locked into your faction, so if you want to team with guildmates you'll need to be using a character from the same faction.

Armor and weapons are entirely separate from class, so you can do any combo in theory. In practice not all of it is effective.

Class skills tend to use magicka, though a few can be morphed to use stamina instead. Weapons (apart from staves) use stamina.

Max magicka and stamina determine your damage with weapons and abilities that use them, so you'll want to pick one or the other and focus on it.

My personal favorite and possibly the easiest class to play for a newbie is a magicka templar. Wearing 5 pieces of heavy armor and 2 of light you are tough, but the templar's healing abilities mean you can self heal through even more stuff while dealing damage with magic light spears, fireballs and beams.

If you want an easier time, go with a magicka nightblade. You've got a bunch of options including invisibility (handy as fuck for soloing, and Thieves Guild/DB quests too), melee damage spells, and spells that will leech health off enemies and heal you.

Stam nightblade can be very good too but it's much harder, since you need to PVP for a significant time to get a healing ability so you'll have downtime between fights.

You'll want to level all three class lines, so grab the first ability from each of them. Strife from the Siphoning line is essential since it provides a HoT effect that will keep you up and fighting. Shadow Cloak from Shadow is your classic stealth and one of the most useful utilities you have. Assassin's Blade from Assassination is a decent finisher with its bonus damage vs. enemies under 25% health.

I suggest using a destruction staff to begin with. At level 15 you'll unlock a second ability bar and weapon slots, which in the current meta you'll want to level dual wielding purely for the passive damage bonuses given by two swords.

Is where I got the basics of my MagBlade from at the suggestion of clv, who knows it better than me by far.

You have skills you can trigger with your number keys (or whatever you bind them too), but also light attacks on LMB, heavy attacks done by holding LMB, blocks on RMB, and a bash you can do by holding RMB + clicking LMB. Light attacks are quick additional damage, heavy ones do less damage overall (because they're slow) but if you've made a foe off-balance (either by blocking/interrupting their attack with a bash or with your skills) you can knock their ass to the ground and do heavy damage with them. They also restore your stamina or magicka, depending on what weapon you use. Block does what it says on the tin, reducing damage. Bash can interrupt attacks, making an enemy vulnerable and denying them of a potentially devastating attack.

Basically your numbered skills are your main source of DPS and utility (like buffing your damage, healing yourself/allies, etc.), then you have light attacks which you weave in between skill uses for DPS, and everything else has a utility purpose.

we can see each other in game, sometimes (we tp to each other when we cant) and then itll show one of us as being in a group and for the other they arent in a group, for the person in a group the group member is offline.

Everyone on Trueflame is pretty much a DK pvp tank who physically cannot die or a Nightblade who does poison inject > ambush > some manner of macroslice fuckery which will kill you before you realize you've been debuffed. Sometimes you'll also run into a stamsorc, but if you get close to killing him he'll just fly away.

Also all of them travel in groups of 20's.

What faction are you? Don't know what you mean by PvP gear, any gear is PvP gear, but you'll be best off with impenetrable as the traits.

Not that difficult, but a few of them are behind the enemy faction's inner gates, meaning your faction (or the other one, if you're sneaky) basically has to sweep all their territory to "Open the gate". So far only AD have seemed like mega-niggers when it comes to delves, they legit go through with a small group looking for people to gank, haven't personally had any other faction do that shit.

But to unlock the guild bank you need to recruit 10 members to the guild. What happens when we get the 10 members, we unlock it and hen people leave. High Elves are as racist, if not more so, than Dark Elves. Due to this, they view the Bosmer joining the AD as them simply using their available resources to acquire greater numbers for their army.

Khajiit just don't give a shit, and are only helping AD because no one else was close to them. They wanted a piece of the crown to, and the aldmeri dominion was the closest faction fighting for it, so they just went all "Fuck it, these guys are alright." and joined them.
