I suggested using the demo because it's always available for everyone and very unlikely to change; if you want it the patch to be smaller, you can use v1.00 as a base, but it will be harder to find (let alone v1.10).
If you only want to share it here, the base doesn't matter much as long as it's a publicly available untouched zip off of DLSite.

A big portion of the problem is that in RPG Maker, at least pre-MV, the Weapon and Armor classes are nested in the RPG module.
I'm not ruby specialist, but from what I know, all variables in a module must be constants. So I'm guessing you can't write into the variables of classes that are nested into the module.
So I'm not sure how you could properly keep track of clothing damage/degradation, especially if you want to have 2 of the same cloth type.
I just ran into this problem the other day and am now trying to find a way to fix this for myself.

But let's say you have two pairs of the same type of glove. One which has all of it's durability worn down and completely broken, other one that has the durability at maximum. You misunderstood what I said. Not left and right gloves. Just two pairs of the same type of gloves or any item for that.
Let's say you have 2 longswords. They are completely the same item, now you've used one for a while and it's started to degrade and lose it's stats. So now you want to take and use the other longsword that hasn't degraded yet and has all of it's stats to the max. You can't tell the game to differentiate between the two, because the game just won't know which longsword's broken and which one isn't.

Speaking of slots, it's actually somewhat of a pain to edit those slots as well.

The way I can kinda see doing this whole ordeal is adding the GUID and durability stat into Game_BaseItem, I think so at least. I still need to look into it a bit more, but from what I understand I could use that to keep track of the item's durability.
