ideally you should keep the fires of justice because MUH SIM DPS but Zeal is probably your best alternative

it does higher base damage than crusader strike and has a faster base cooldown. with a ton of haste you can generate holy power much faster

Vanilla WoW was great. I loved the parts of the game you call 'shit'. I loved creating a partry in Orgrimmar then actually riding as a group to the dungeon entrance to start our adventure, made it feel like you were an actual RPG party and not a random group of guys whose queue popped and were forced together.

I loved dungeons that had branching paths you could explore, and spending 3+ hours looking in every nook and cranny of Blackrock Depths because it felt like an actual city and not a loot tunnel filled with trash and bosses.

I loved the difficulty of raids, and the shared sense of accomplishment everyone on the server felt when Onyxias head was put on a spike in the middle of your city.

I loved epic gear actually mattering, and there being a sense of prestige to being one of the few people on the server with a T2 set

I loved being a master of a profession actually mattering, and people seeking out the few people who managed to get one of the rare drop recipes for their services.

I loved flying not trivialising travelling around the world, and Azeroth and Kalimdor feeling absolutely massive because you could only ride around at ground level.

Vanilla WoW was fucking great. All the casual shit implemented so shitters could simply teleport to dungeons and get loot without interacting with other people in an MMO fucking ruined the community, and the game has only been trending that way ever since LFG was implemented, culminating in the autism cages that were garrisons in WoD. Just like a capital city, only it's yours and you never have to see another player or interact with them. Just sit in your garrison, queue up for PvE and PvP and never talk to another human again

You should have to walk to them first, and that would add to the exploration and "first impressions" upon entering/seeing/doing the content.

The same content + some added mechanics has no reason to make you walk there other than to waste the time of players who are decent at the game.

More of a throwback would be: complete the dungeon on normal mode before you can do it on heroic

Maybe make people have to go to it once on normal mode physically to unlock the teleport, and then let people teleport to heroics because theyd have to do normal(non-tp once) before queuing.

For one I hated the revamp to the old world, I couldn't believe they just removed so much content from the game. Even apart from that though the story was just dumb as fuck and I think that's also when they ruined the talent system to the garbage heap it is now.

I remember Cata also adding in lots of quality of life changes (like I think that's when heirlooms were added right?) so it wasn't completely terrible I guess.

So, Emerald dream then? Seems like the most balanced faction wise pvp server with a large population. My main is on a pretty much dead server (blackdragonflight horde) and i'm looking for the popular shit since this game is boring without lots of other people.

Don't want to get stuck in a situation where i have to look into transferring servers to find raid guilds at my progression/gear (because raid teams/guilds fell apart due to attendance, happens all the time)

I heard they killed xserver "Guild" raid teams with personal loot, shame because i had success with scheduling RBGs and raids with things like Openraid and even this general.

My least favorite was WoD, probably just because the garbage is most recent in my memory. I did like that heroics were challenging at the start of the expansion; it's a shame we didn't get any more added and that they didn't remain relevant.

Other than that, I disliked MoP enough to actually quit shortly after throne of thunder despite having 6 months prepaid. My friends all quit, and I didn't want to look for a guild so I was stuck doing heroics and LFR and operating a shitty goddamned farm. Looking back, I like just how much solo-accessible content there actually was. If it wasn't there, I probably would have quit a lot earlier.

What content? Pre cataclysm EK and Kalimdor barely had anything in them. There were like 10 quests per zone, and absolutely nothing at all in Silithus, Winterfall, Dustwallow Marsh, Un'goro Crater, Deadwind Pass and probably a few others

You stand in one spot with mobs that respawn constantly when you kill them, and since loot is shared now you can group as 5 and just stand there AoEing constantly and looting stuff your group has AoE'd down.

It's like 3k-4k gold an hour maybe less since everyone is doing it now though, so not really anything special

Leveling in WoW has probably been the most boring experience I have ever had

Herilooms make every dungeon a snooze fest walking simulator and it starts taking multiple runs to level once at 50+

Someone help me understand something. The more responses, the better, even if you're shitposting your ass off.

I'm having trouble seeing the difference between Monk and Demon Hunter -- Demon Hunters are being advertised as the "mobility" class, yet only just meet Monk mobility, less if a monk talents for more.

So they're not the most mobile already. They can't stealth, they don't have anything nearly as good as Touch of Karma, they don't have a castable heal -- instead, it's scattered throughout their kit as damage/leech abilities -- so they can't do any of the funny shit in arena that a Monk could.

Sure, they have their rogue-spotting tool, but they're slowed for it and can't do it if they take damage, and their teammates can't see it so they have to call it out, which isn't an option for the average pvper in in your average battleground.

Then outside of that, their tanking seems to be about self-healing, which hasn't been done befo-- oh wait, Prot Paladins and Blood DKs exist. Blizzard's justification for how bland their tank spec is "but look at the sigils you guys" -- yeah, that's not making me want a DH for my guilds main tank.

I know a bunch of my guildmates are going to roll DH and shitpost for ten-thousand years this expansion, and I literally can't see a role for them to fill in PvE or PvP. Help me understand, even if it's just "you're right and they're garbage"
