The Rainy 2016 files worked similarly but unlike Revo or Yamato, the quest itself was removed which made it impossible to 100% one of the objectives (kill any Lv.71+ enemy in the seasonal EQ itself) after the deadline. There's no such objective with Revo or Yamato.

So, my personal experience with my build and the statistics detailing how I've outperformed players with the "meta" Fi/Hu build are somehow invalidated because I'm not some kind of e-celeb? That's retarded. And judging by the way you phrased that post, it seems like if Matt or Kemicho or w/e said the same thing, you would take their word as absolute truth. This kind of thinking is the reason why the English community is a joke and will never be as good as the JPs. People didn't just suddenly slap together some builds and find out what was good overnight. To make progress, you have to experiment. Too many people just parrot what other people say and copy builds blindly without actually understanding what works in which situation. And that's how we get shitty players who have 1000s of hours and 150 atk gear, yet are still perform poorly in EQs because they can't think for themselves.

Also yes you're right, experimentation is important. However, this game has been out for a very, very long time. Shit has been experimented with time and again. We know what is and is not good. There is no need to run your special snowflake "experimental" builds in shit when those experiments have already been tested out, and proven to be shit.

Whenever someone complains about "meme builds" or "cookie cutter builds" and talks about how their snowflake build is somehow better than those, the only thing I can think of is how bad they have to be at the game for that to be true for them.

How does chain trigger work? I get it up to like 25 or 30 and then IFT0 it or sat aim it and it doesn't do any extra damage and it just wears off a bit later.

The average JP player is much better than the average English player. The best pug runs I have are usually in groups of mostly JP players. I have has pug TD4s like the ones I mentioned above with faster and smoother clears than many EN team organized MPAs that I get invited to. They weren't Fo only MPAs if you're wondering. Chase is outdated now, we've reached a level of power creep where the vast majority of enemies melt faster than they can be status proc'd. You'd be better off putting those points into pp slayer.

Chase is not outdated at all, what are you saying? I spend more time attacking things that are status'd than things that aren't in TD because Double Saber is ridiculous for applying them. Chase lets you kill a pack of Goldies in one Chaos Riser if you hit the head and even in the example you posted, I kill them in two because of Chase. I don't see how you can think that PP Slayer's measly 3.7%ish damage is a better use of points compared to Chase's (5/10 and 5/5 Plus) 32.25%. I have way less uptime on PP Slayer than I do Chase Advance because I'm not sitting below 50% PP very often thanks to all the PP regenerating shit that's in the game now.

All the stuff that's on fire/bound in this webm isn't a rare occurrence, it's extremely common.

All the important skills taken leaves you with 13 SP to play around with. Your only options are Limit Break 10, PP Slayer, Chase + Plus, half of Wise Stance or maxed Deadline Slayer.

LB10 is good but for TD it's kinda redundant because the waves usually end before you even get to use all of it and if you do take it, all of the leftover points will hardly ever be noticeable. PP Slayer or maxed Deadline barely increase your damage at all so all that's left is Chase. Wise Stance is also an option for anyone that doesn't want to use Braver as a Weak Stance sub or Bouncer for Elder/arms/whatever.

I'm assuming that you might want to play HU main in the future, leftover points are spares. There's nothing really wrong with what you did, most would pick up Automate instead of IW but it doesn't matter too much unless you plan on using Wired Lance heavily. IW would benefit Fi/Hu greatly compared to Automate as well.

Massive Hunter and Automate help a lot with DS, because you'll be point blank at all times with it, MH stops the stagger and Automate makes you near unkillable, gives the best uptime and makes DS an incredibly mobbing weapon with Chaos Riser/Rumbling Moon/Illusion Rave.

Automate uses a mate when you drop below 50% HP, but LB drops you down to 1/4th HP anyway, meaning anything that hits you will probably just kill you anyway.

There's zero reason to use automate on FiHu unless you're planning to be the FI that surpasses Firesword and get 3k HP
