If you go soul of the forest/sabertooth/omen of clarity it becomes into a fast-paced but pretty easy spec.

There is a difference between the Orcs, who razed their own world and only came to their senses to late to stop it, and the Eredar who killed their own world, killed every other world they ever saw, and made a mission to kill any uncorrupted Eredar no matter the cost.
The orcs broke their own planet, the eredar have broken potentially hundreds, even thousands.
There is a point where being sorry doesn't cut it.

help me decide what to main in legion

warrior (fury) - main for literally 8 years. love plate transmog, and I have tons of it. extensive raiding history as fury at a high level. don't really like what they've done with fury, but I've stuck with it for this long already. don't like what I've heard/seen about the class hall. also not a huge fan of the artifact looks. unlikely to play arms outside of pvp, or to tank much or at all.

hunter (MM) - been my #1 alt for about as long as I've played warrior. I'm likely better at playing this spec than fury, and I actually enjoy it for the most part. hunter transmog is alright, and this is the one class I've got MoP CM set on, which is cool. I'm indifferent about the class hall, and I like the artifact a lot. likely to play BM if the situation calls for it, hesitant to play survival.

rogue (assn) - I've usually got a rogue at max level, but it never dominates my attention. Not a big fan of the current meta (hemo/exsanguinate), but I can roll with it while hoping it gets nerfed, and I can play it pretty well. that said, out of these 3 this is the class I have the least experience playing. always been a fan of rogue transmog, rates behind warrior and above hunter for me. absolutely love the class hall/followers, and the artifact. decent chance of playing either of the other specs if they come out ahead, though outlaw more so than sub

Don't sell stuff you use for RP that isn't something your character can actually use, e.g. cloth stuff if you're a warrior, that won't be saved in the warddrobe, you can only unlock stuff if you're able to use it, for armor if it matches your armor spec.

I went into BGs with a fresh 100 warlock.

Fucking wrecked it as Affliction. I was #1/#2 damage done in every BG, I was a force to be reckoned with.

Warlocks are so absurd right now. I guess that's the nice thing about having all 100s, you can choose FoTM classes and wreck face.

Also, be aware that because of the competitive nature of WoW raiding, "being better than everyone else" requires a RETARDED time commitment. To raid in a top 50 world guild, you're going to have to have multiple alts for split runs and raid 20+ hours a week during the month or so of progression.

Depends on the guild. There are basically a few "classes" of guilds.

These guilds will raid a retarded amount during progression, and then keep running the raid multiple times a week after they clear it to gear alts for next tier/sell clears for money. Expect to raid a stupid amount.

I doubt it. It's really clunky to keep atonement up on people while trying to DPS, Disc is fun but it's actual healing throughput is garbage. WoW has been through the whole "Class is good at 50% of one role and 50% of another role" before and it never works out. People prefer to just take a straight DPS and a straight healer rather than one guy who doesn't do either particularly well

I think my issue is that it isn't consistent now in terms of tonal focus. Like you used to be treated like an important elite soldier, but still a single part of an overall effort.

They gradually changed the tone to be "OH CHOSEN ONE PLEASE SAVE US" and when you get used to that it be comes annoying to have all your thunder built up only to be stolen by Thrall or somebody.

Keep the focus of who's important consistent and I don't have a problem.
