A week ago when I finished reading the books and started playing the first, I was thinking of going with Yen as she's the "true" love of Gerlat, and as he swore that won't ever be with another women. But now that I finished the second, I see that Triss truly likes Geralt, far more than Yen, and that she won't be the whore that was Yennefer, and, Yen and Geralt are far too dangerous for eachother.

I personally always liked Triss, I read the books only after I played the games, so I was already into Triss and the books made me love her even more.

The games established Triss as a valid choice and my Geralt truly fell in love with her and was conflicted when his memory returned. Triss will always be my pick, I love the chemistry between her and Geralt, CDPR did an amazing job with her.

Yen is also very appealing and you won't go wrong whoever you choose, both are amazing.

Cirir doesn't care much either way in the game, she supports Geralt in any case.

You have to admit, the lack of choices in this game when doing some of the quests makes this a pretty pleb tier game.
Just did the werewolf quest and even if I killed the fucker the moment after he told me how to get the reward, the quest log aknowledges it as if I let him go.

So I just finished Blood and Wine not long ago, and cleared all locations in it. Then cleared all remaining locations in Velen/Novigrad hoping to get some decent xp. Nope.

So now I'm at level 53. I want to start NG+, but want to be level 60 when I do it, because I like round numbers and being level 60 will make the ultimate Witcher gear be at level 100.

So I need some experience grinding options. And I am not about to finish everything in Skellige. At least not all of the underwater smuggler's chests unless I have no other option. I'd be willing to clear the stuff on islands and mainland, though, but there's only a few left to clear. Mostly it's water ones, which are just smuggler's bullshit.

Anyone have decent options for grinding out exp? I have already completed all quests, or nearly all if there are others to unlock in Skellige I haven't already unlocked.

This is something that is bugging the fuck otu of me and someone tell me I'm wrong. With all the fantastic attention to detail CDPR put into TW3, I am fucking amazed this one slipped by.

When you find Ciri on the isle of the mist, she comes back to life and a small flashback of Ciri running to Geralt as a child plays. Literally a minute later, she ask about the scar over your left eye as she doesn't remember it. The scar was very clearly present in the flashback.

What gives?

Anyone else collecting all the relic items you find? I have 6k+ gold all the time anyways so I dont have any use from selling them, decided to collect everything and see what I will have at the end of the game.

Of course, she took a great risk by going there, she had no idea how will it play out. But what I like the most is the character growth shown. Triss struggled standing up to the Lodge in the past, she was an obedient follower to Philippa, but by the end of TW2, she is brave enough to go against them.

In TW3 she is following her own goals and ideals for the first time, she manages to establish herself as the leader of the oppressed mages and eventually takes over the Council and Conclave. She has gone a long way and I can't help but admire that. Not to mention she manages to keep her bright spirit and fun personality despite the struggles she faces. Triss is amazing like that.

Of course her spirit is bright, chasing her through that maze and eventually kissing her was one of my favorite moments in the whole game. I was so happy to see her relaxed and having fun.

She deserved a brake after all the things she's done for the her fellow mages. My Geralt made sure she has the best time ever. I loved the throwback to that ball in B&W and how Geralt refers to that night as magical. It truly was.

Of course she deserves a break, just imagine, there is no one left to fight for those people. Triss is a powerful sorceress, it would be no issue for her to just teleport from Novigrad and save her ass, but she decides to stay and help those in need, risking her life in the process. She lives in filth, struggles to raise money, does the dirty work for Novigrad lowlifes...if anyone deserved to have a break it's her.

Just compare her to the other sorceresses, most only care about their own asses and are in hiding or captured. Triss stays in the sorceress hell that Novigrad has become and those poor mages see her as their savior. I was so proud of her when she delivered that powerful speech in Now or Never and the look on her face when that boat sailed away to safety was priceless.

Triss grew a lot from the scared, insecure person she once was. I am glad we can already see her transformation into venerable Triss the books predicted she will become. CDPR really did her character justice.

Of course she did, it starts in Rivia at the end of LotL, despite wanting to flee at first, she returns and helps Yen, while casting quite a formidable spell, effectively stopping the Rivian pogrom.

It continues in the games, standing up to Philippa is a feat on its own, especially considering their history, but her ability to take responsibility for the lives of others and bravely fight for them on the front lines is what impressed me the most.

Triss has come a long way from the girl who vomits in fear when faced against a serious battle.

Where the complaints about the third act generated a few dozen, maybe a hundred pages, threads about Triss generated thousands. Why do you even care? If people want their waifus, let them have it. When you look at the game as a whole, waifu content makes a meager percentage of it and it's completely optional. Even the stuff they added for Triss makes for a few minutes of content in a 100+ hour game. It was an easy fix for CDPR, reworking the third act would require much, much more work.
