It's crazy how many Maxis match hairs are basically identical to each other. How many different "shoulder-length with braids" do we really need?

And same goes for makeup. CC creators seem to have a style they prefer, and pretty much every lipstick they bring out has the same colours and same level of opacity.

Decided to replace the Painter career, because I find the whole thing completely redundant (my Sims can already be artists, I don't need a career track for it), so I decided to turn it into a Model career instead.
I haven't finished the mod yet, but if anyone's interested I can bump with the career level descriptions I've written so far.

the only time updates borked them was when they added the gender update that enabled masculine and feminine frames, and even then, it was a simple fix.

i haven't had to replace them ever aside from that. it doesn't hurt to take a look and see if things are ever updated once in a while though.

Ayy /tsg/ it's been about a year since I last touched Sims 4. Have they made the game not shit yet? It killed me that the game with the best Create-a-Sim had the worst neighborhood and world building mechanics.

I know they were slowly adding basic fucking features back in like basement building. Hopefully they've added more. I just started playing TS2 again and although the sim creation is a lot more primitive, just about everything else is miles better than TS4.

You can actually edit the terrain, move and place new lots, landmarks, and objects, and had a bunch of additional blank neighborhoods you could build on that we're all different from the three premade neighborhoods the game comes with.

From what I remember, TS4 has predetermined lot sizes that you can't edit or move. Sure that might not seem important if all you do is make waifus but it was a nice feature and I always make it a point to start up a new town and establish families that go on for generations.

So then they should be simple to program and animate. It kills me that the stuff that requires so little effort to pull off is still too mammoth of a task to be put into the game. I personally liked toddlers a great deal. Yea they were pretty basic and didn't do much, but seeing parents carrying them around town and interacting with them just added an extra touch of real life into the game and it just feels kinda wrong without them in TS4, especially with that jarring transition from baby to child.

I think there was a model with vitiligo that got famous a while ago, it spurred everyone to give it to their ocs too, since it looks kind of cool. Kind of like heterochromia was a while ago.

I'm pretty sure most of the vitiligo cc looks nothing like real vitiligo, though. Just random patches, intstead of around the mouth and eyes like I've seen it on real people.

the pose packs usually come with a picture that shows where to put the teleporters so that the poses work. a lot of the ones for beds usually require two teleporters to be in the center of the bed. then its a matter of teleporting the sims and posing them before they can walk out of the bed.

List of things I'd love mods for, but don't know if they even exist. I'm sorry for being so new, but I'm terrible with searching for these type of things.

-stop sims that are chatting from sitting across the room from each other
-force sims to eat only at the dinner table
