I'm not shilling Kronos. I'm posting in the Kronos general, however. I don't think Kronos is a particularly good server, and I don't think Elysium will be either. Nost wasn't great, but I logged over 100 days /played on my main there. I've spent countless hours on almost every single semi-popular private server since wotlk came out. If you think people will jump ship because mobs use their spells better or the pathing is more functional, you're delusional. The only thing that makes people change servers is larger populations.

I don't even play on kronos (yet). I haven't played since nost. I'm just looking for a home, figured I'd check out kronos and saw the elysium shilling.

My opinion so far of elysium is: a lot things work. Here's lord incendius evading instead of running up the wall like he did on nost. The kodo caravan quests work on elysium, didn't on nost. The night elf escort in jaedenar works, even the little RP segments, didn't on nost. Battle of darrowshire, works. Robot chicken escort, works. Tooga escort, works. In Dreams, mostly works.

I think it's an OK server. Not flawless like the shills say, but pretty good. I met an english speaking guy the other day and we went around testing the raids. I don't know that much about the raid mechanics, but he said he found several problems with some fights. He said he was recording, dunno if he ever posted it somewhere.

But anyway, you can't just announce a new server 3 weeks in advance and hope people show up. The people who will show up are all the russians who play on the old server and they will crowd out the english speakers. it'll end up like theatre of dreams, which has nothing but polish people.

When you first summon a warlock pet, it just stands there. You have to either dismiss it or run away and summon it again. I also noticed this behavior when I did the quests to learn my hunter beastmastery skills, although not when taming a beast normally.

Server crashed again.

Found that iron ore en route to test enslave demon. Enslaved demons suffer the same bug as summoning your first demon does. It runs to where you enslaved it and stands there, unresponsive.

Elysium instituted their new core like 3 days ago. It reverted some of their settings, and none of these bugs were in before. The whole point of the PTR is to find the bugs the new core created and then fix them before launch. Not to mention people have GM commands on the PTR and are destroying everything.
