Guys, I want to play WotLK again (after 5 years). But I'm from NA and by the looks of it, the only server I should play on with a decent population is Warmane. However.. see pic related. This is a huge boner killer. Fuck. I also learned that their cash shop sells legendaries so what's the point? Do they just run ICC all day? I want to raid Naxx and Ulduar too, would I be able to?

Where do I play? Gamer District? How's the NA population there? I am definitely not playing on Dalaran after I did some research.

Dalaran is the best place to play WotLK bar none. If you think Warmane is less buggy you're absolutely delusional and ill informed.
Gamer District is a shitty p2w server with custom features that sells legendaries and has a 5.5k gearscore requirement to do any sort of raid.
Trust me I have an 80 on Dalaran, its the last legit place left to play WotLK; Warmane shills (watch out for one called "yaze" he's the worst) are lying sacks of shit. Yes there are some bugs, but there are also 5 newly hired developers fixing those bugs.
The population is stable and has hovered at around 2k online since ToC was released. This is similar to and in some cases more than the average retail server during the height of WotLK. Naxx and Ulduar (which is pre-nerf, I might add) are still pugged regularly and new guilds crop up all the time because of the unique way content is gated on the server.

I'm not saying you didn't do your research. You probably did. But the information you gathered was undoubtedly from second or third hand sources or in a lot of cases plain made up.
Take it from me, someone with an actual 80 on Dalaran who has raided there: the server is fantastic.

Dalaran is 1x and from what I've been told, the NA population isn't on par with Warmane/Icecrown. Add to that how DalaranWoW limits the distance on how far you can see objects and I'm out of there pretty quick. Just my two cents, so I'm currently mostly considering Gamer District.

Good job you linked a post that a Finnish only guild can't get enough GOOD Finns to compete for world firsts in Legion.

You realize that if they really REALLY wanted to go and compete for world firsts they could just get players from around Europe, aka become an international guild and get a good enough roster to go for the world firsts, but they didn't want to. Why? I have no clue, it was their choice. Maybe people wanted to take a break from farming like autists, getting that small increase just to have better chances at killing a boss before any other guild does. Maybe they're tired of WoW after playing for years and wanted to move on to other games. I don't know, but saying that a WORLD FIRST competing guild has trouble getting a stable roster is absolutely stupid, they already have a limited playerbase of people that can afford to do that AND people who want to do that AND people who can do that. The x class does more damage meme was fixed a long time ago, but there was an issue with pets being very stronk. For an icc funserver, everything is scripted pretty well. The main buzzkill of the server is slavs and donors going buckwild with shadowmournes so pvp can be kind of annoying.
