I bet some people got one too many parties where people die to AoEs one too many times in the first phase. It's kinda sad since Horrid Roars are easy to avoid, and Hot Wing/Tail and Cauterize have indicators instead of having to watch what Nidhogg is doing like in his Minstrel's Ballad encounter.

I agree that it's stupid for people to leave early, but I guess they shouldn't bother queueing if they aren't going to help out. On the other hand, if people keep making the same mistakes over and over even if they're given an explanation on mechanics...well, unfortunately we can't cure stupid.

The nude mod does give you bare feet, which is an incentive for people who aren't exactly lewd types to get it. Conversely, nudity is a symbol for purity in some expressions of art. It'd be nice to see your character nude, even if there's nothing lewd about the screenshot. inb4 nudity is always lewd. :^)

As a WHM with 582 accuracy, I miss probably once every five pulls in A8S. But since you're a SCH and have more opportunities to dps, I'd try to get much closer to the cap if I were you.

Assuming that people are dealing with height and attachments properly, then unfortunately the part shortly after Blaster is entirely dependant your healers and tanks. If no one else is doing so yet and you feel like you're up for it, start calling out mechanics, it's really the easiest way to carry people through content.

Other than that, it's mostly about making sure everyone knows what robot you're killing and when. Also make sure that you're ready to deal with Enumeration when it happens, by knowing who goes in and who stays out, and to not push Super Cyclone through when it's coming up.

You'll get new skills later that increase the shard yield. It's still extremely tedious though. The best ways to get shards are currently to have your retainer gather them, do Aetherial Reduction once you reach 50+ (you can get a metric ton of them from doing AR). Honestly the only difference between the primals and what Nidhogg was is simply that Primals are manifested beings of faith/belief but Nidhogg was a manifest being of his own lingering personal will.

Beyond that there's plenty to make them alike to one another, but the fact Nidhogg's creation was of himself and not of someone else makes him stand out somewhat. "Wraith" is the perfect way to describe him. He's lingering sentiment, unlike Bahamut who was born of Tiamat.
